Someone on twitter said rumors are he may step down Monday because of an affair with a student. Probably nothing to it but saw it out there.

GatorCountry should not retweet stuff without checking at least with Google Alerts first. There is nothing on the internet about this and you know it would be lighting up the Net like a Christmas tree if it was true.

Then GatorCountry better prepare for the possibility of looking pretty bad. It's a rumor that seems to have originated with a Western Kentucky journalism student and supposedly LSU insiders have asked their contacts and been assured that there's nothing to this. No idea why GC felt the need to tweet this at this point without some confirmation beyond what's out there now.

Why? It was simply mentioned on this board. It doesn't even look bad for gatorbait96 - he just said the tweet is out there. It is. I found an article written by a Chicago blogger/ Internet host that mentions it too, without endorsing it.
If GC had written an article and it wasn't true, then they'd look bad. As it stands it's just another thread.
