LOI? Someone just quoted Derek saying he was not academically set to be allowed to sign.

That was me. Derek just said Reed confirmed via text that he signed his LOI.

Jarran Reed Article w/ interesting info...
...I didn't know Reed had 4 to play 3...
http://www.alligatorarmy.com/2013/2/...ors-recruiting
"Reed has good size at 6'4" and 305 pounds, and has four years to play three seasons, so he'll have plenty of time to get to the optimum playing shape."

Nope. He went to prep school for one year, then JC for one year and got his AA. Thus he has four years to play three.

That makes sense, though I assume the fourth year could only come in graduate school, no?

Nahh, he can only play 3 seasons, but he could redshirt a year, which would make his 4th year.. if he stayed that long.
There's 0% chance he redshirts... BUT if he has a serious injury, he could, in theory, redshirt 1 year and play the next.

Petty sniping comment of the type that lowers the quality of our forums. Rserina is one of the top posters on GC.
