Which 2014 Targets...
...would you most like to see join this class??
We are off to a great start, the type of talent we are taking this early is awesome.
QB - Will Grier
WR - Ryeshene Bronson
DT - Travonte Valentine
DB - Duke Dawson
Travonte Valentine has a chance to depart this class... but he hasn't yet! I think the other 3 are locks, especially our most recent, Duke Dawson. Having guys like this at the head of the class should be interesting when it comes to recruiting... a la Nick Washington, this year. I Would love to know the names of the some of the kids they think we should be recruiting.
My votes are pretty clear for OL... All the talk about OT Denzel Ward has made me a fan... Huge kid. His highlight tapes are impressive... He pushes kids 10-15 yards down the field. Last time I saw something like that was Joe Thomas... BUT Thomas did it on the NCAA level. Hope Ward can hang in the SEC, if he does, wow. I'd really like OT KC McDermot, but I think Miami is going to snag him. OL Corey Martinez, I think, is our best in-state inside-OL target. OG Travaris Dorsey may be an option, he's been to FNL... Hopefully, if he has shown some improvement from last year's FNL, I think he'll get an offer.
For Defense, I really like Buck/LB Bryson Allen-Williams... I think pulling him is fairly realistic. Stealing Buck/LB Denzel Ware from FSUcks would be pretty outstanding... would be nice for our staff to start doing that now with all their staff turnover. He visited one of our games this past season and may visit again and he does show a lot of interest in Florida. DB/WR JC Jackson is also looking like another FSUcks flip that is very possible/likely. And why stop there, really, DT DeMarcus Christmas is one of the best in-state DT's. All the guys who recruited him are gone, I believe.
Travonte Valentine is a little flaky, but if we can manage to hold on to him for a few more months, I think he'll stick through-out. DT Khairi Clark would be another fantastic pull. Kid is another huge DT prospect.
I would say that Valentine, Christmas, and Clark are the best DT's in the state and the latter are the most likely targets of this class. I think Clark is the best, talent-wise.

I am going to drop a top 25 2014 thread next week. I have seen a lot of 2014 kids film.
Stomp Corey doesn't have an offer but I know his family are Gator fans. Dorsey actually does have an offer

Sony Michel seems an obvious choice.

RB Leonard Fournette (St. Augustine HS) New Orleans, LA. 6-2/227
TE Jacory Washington (Westlake HS) Westlake, LA. 6-5/215
WR Trevion Thompson (Hillside HS) Durham, NC. 6-3/180
DE Andrew Brown (Indian River HS) Chesapeake, VA. 6-4/295
OT K.C. McDermott (Palm Beach Central HS) Wellington, FL. 6-6/280
OT Bentley Spain (Providence HS) Charlotte, NC. 6-6/295
These are some of the guys that are four star players right now. Some could become five stars and some might drop off to three star.

UF is not a very obvious choice for him. I don't think he's very interested.

I also have the highlights of like 70 2014 prospects I will make a separate thread for that in the next week. Should each position have a thread or just one big highlight thread?

Seems about as interested in UF as the last two Columbia County prospects.

I am not sure I think he went to Miami's junior day today so interviews will be out in the next couple of days. He grew up a Miami fan and Bama has been recruiting him for a long time. I would assume Florida has a shot.
