For those who appreciate what Bama has done - not just in recent years but especially on Monday night......this is a fantastic video.
The actual game footage starts at 5:44 if you want to skip ahead.
Also this video is best viewed in FULL SCREEN mode, speakers on!
I'm very proud of our team and what we have accomplished just since last season. But there's nothing wrong with a desire to continue our development. So with that in mind.....while you are watching.....imagine the players in Crimson and White are wearing Orange and Blue.....and tell me if this is what you also want to see happen at Florida.
I'm all in. Coach Muscamp....thanks for your hard work and dedication. Please keep us heading in the right direction. We want to be the team that plays....like they have been there before!
Hell after I cracked my second beer and ate my third wing -- this game was well on its way to being done.
I hope we get it together so that we can get another NC.
Go Gators
I think next season will be very significant to realize our potential for another NC in the near future.
First and foremost for me would be to instill a culture of zero penalties. No more personal fouls to start with. No more outlandish celebratory behaviour after a play unless it is a game-wining TD at the end of the game. Even that wouldn't be encouraged.
I don't want our players to be without passion - but let's channel that passion into performance and remain composed as true champions are.
Bazza thanks. Wow. Just wow. I missed the start of the game and watching this gives me goose bumps. The production is amazing. Watching this in 7.1 surround sound is an out of this world experience. If every broadcast is going to be like this in the future, not many people would want to go to watch these games live

My grandma is slow.
I bet YOU would like it if she was fast?
I bet SHE would like it if she was fast.
GatorCountry is the best Gator Sports board, and also the most conservative.
Our team is #1 in penalties in the SEC. Alabama has the lowest.
If you want to believe it's because of biased officiating go for it but you are only kidding yourself.
It is a culture - fostered by the coaching staff and by peer pressure - the juniors and seniors on the team keeping the new guys in line.
We can get there - and when we do there's no reason we can't win another SEC Championship - and beyond.
Thanks for the reps and for the great comments.
No doubt there are things we can do to coach more discipline and get fewer calls as a result.
But SOS and Meyer are good examples of coaches who have teams that are far less penalized everywhere they coach except for Florida... and SOS even in the same conference. I haven't paid attention to Zook, but my guess is that even his Illinois teams were less heavily penalized than his Gator teams.
Biased officiating is very definitely a portion of what's going on. Not sure what can be done about it, though.
They seem to play with high emotion. They also seem to play very well together and like one unit rather than having 2-3 players that want to stand out and be the center of attention.
What, no Greek chorus singing in the background, with violins and timpani ?

Good for Bama, but a Bama highlight video does absolutely nothing for me. Not sure why it gives goosebumps to Gators fans?
Thank for sharing though.
You're welcome Stang.
Just out of curiosity....is that for "Mustang" - the car - or horse?
Anyway - here's how I see it.
You own a hamburger shop.
You have customers who like your hamburgers - but lately they have not been the best in town (maybe it's that new chef from Georgia who was an assistant at another hamburger shop and was hired in as head chef at your place - and he's still in process of getting it all together).
So a movie comes out based on how the other hamburger shop in town makes their burgers - which are the best in town - hands down.
Do you get excited seeing how they make their burgers or not?
Some will and some won't.
For me I enjoy watching excellence. Even if I'm not watching a movie about my hamburger shop.

A guy can dream, can't he?
My name is about the cars. I'm a Mustang nut and have owned them my whole life and work on them every day, keeping them ahead of those dirty Camaros.
But I catch what you're saying. I do like to watch well oiled machines as well, but I don't drool over them unless it's mine. My competitors don't deserve my envy.

Thanks Stang for the clarification - my brother had a '90 LX with a Paxton supercharger on it and used to routinely go Vette hunting back in the day. That thing was fast.
I'm OK with not drooling too. Sometimes I have to contain that side of me!
