We shall see. He may also be saying things to get the Clemson coaches and his high school coach off his back. We will know soon enough.

If the kid wants to go to UF, let him go. Why are these high school coaches trying to influence these kids? It's ridiculous.

Not making specific accusations in this case, but I think there may be some school boosters out there who give "incentives" to high schools coaches who push kids their way. We KNOW they pay "street agents" so there's no reason to think they aren't paying coaches too.

I'm not making accusations either, but duh.
That coach has to be getting some $ort of in$entive$ from $omeone.

VERY good chance there's some truth to that, but we don't know that.
One point here is that a lot of these high school coaches don't make much money. I just read the national average is about $32,000. So it may not take a huge amount of money to interest these coaches.
At the same time, there may be a very valid reason the coach think Clemson would be a better fit for Robinson.

Clemson chucks the ball around a lot. I can see why a WR would want to go there. What amazes me is how they get a single defensive player worth a poo to go there. Their coaching and performance on that side of the ball is horrible.

It's easy to chuck the ball around when you play Wake, Maryland and Duke.

Only way this is true is if there was some kind of transcript snafu and he was denied early admission to UF. Given the timing, that could be exactly what's going on. It wouldn't be the first time.
That said, information in other threads makes it sound like Robinson is all O & B.

He said he wanted to play in the SEC and that he was told he could come in and have an immediate impact. Sounded like he was ready to ride.

There will fire and brimstone raining down on UF Admissions if they were part of any admissions snafu with D. Robinson.
I really, really hope that wasn't the case and will assume not until it's proven otherwise.

That sort of thing is usually the fault of the high school. Seems a little more likely to happen when it's out of state, more so if it's a small, technologically challenged district.
Not getting any confirmation on this. It still doesn't seem likely that he's in Gainesville with his advisor on one day, putting his schedule together for the spring semester, then recommitting to Clemson the next.
Just finished helping my twins register for spring classes at their respective universities. I would not look forward to a "do-over."
