I was effusive in my response because I have tremendous hate for these predators. Just want to get the word out. My Mom was scamed for about $6000, but nothing compared to my step dad's about $250,000. The emails, letters and phone calls that addicted my mom were full of confusing language, "you are nominated to recieve" "Please remit a processing fee of" etc. My step dad bought huge amounts of worthless "commemorative" coins. I knew nothing of coins until he died until I educated myself on them. There is no market for commemoritive coins, but my step dad thought they were valuable. After he died, we kept recieving boxes of them along with invoices and had a tough time trying to deal with that along with the grief of his death.
