Agree with twodaparty. Playoffs and the difficulty of an SEC schedule will not be his undoing, but they will level the playing field (no pun intended). SEC programs, UF in particular, are starting to figure out what he's doing, just like they did with Spurrier. Granted, it takes more than just figuring it out, but also recruiting the type of athletes it takes to beat them at their own game. UF's system isn't really that different from Bama's. We just aren't as far along in terms of putting the ideal personnel in place. We're recruiting bigger RBs and seem to be trying to get the kind of DL personnel who can flex back and forth between 4-3 and 3-4. Whatever recruiting advantage they have over UF and LSU is narrowing. UGA, USCe, TA&M are all recruiting well enough to beat Bama on a day when a few breaks fall their way.
I will give this to them. They have the perfect system and do a better job of any other program putting the right athletes in at the right positions. They might not win any more championships, but they will make it difficult for any SEC team to win it all.
