That's what I am saying though, Bama would have gotten the NC game and we would have gotten the Sugar Bowl. I don't know where we fall to now...
I think y'all misconstrued what I wrote, I was merely talking about our chances of a good bowl game. Coupled in with recruiting, our bowl game doesn't matter much... However, some could argue that us going to New Orleans to play a bowl game would give us a chance to showcase our program to Garrett Brumfield and other recruits from that area... That's the only real positive I can see us pulling out of this, besides the fact that the Sugar Bowl is a much better bowl.
