Jelani was a 5 star according to Rivals. Maybe not according to Scout but if you are using their rankings I will doubt your judgement even more. I completely disagree on Matt Elam not being a dominant play maker. This is a guy who at the end of this year will be a 1st or 2nd round draft pick? Not really sure what you were hoping for in a 5 star safety, but in my eyes he has done everything expected of him and much more.
