So, if I am following this thread you were able to lose weight while putting on a significant amount of muscle. I dont think its impossible its just not normal.

And then the other thing is that P90X is endurance cardio, not strength training.

I didn't lose weight, I was 200-205 when I started and around the same when I finished. If I did gain weight I wasn't any heavier than 215.
I said after football I lost weight to get leaner while still lifting weights, I went from 225-230 down to 200-205 and that is when I started P90X. I lost a lot of strength while trying to get lean and gained my strength back.
