First of all... I want to say that we got one great group of new faces this recruiting season. 35 new faces and that's 41% of our 85 scholarship players. That's a ton of new faces and new talent to add in one off season.

I leave this for you guys and gals to digest this short-ish article... and I will add my thoughts later on here too.

Now a junior, and with Hill off the Texas A&M and Kimber off to Penn State, it's time for Moore to step up into a starter's role. Pro Football Focus tweeted out a graphic over the weekend, dreaming of what it would be like to have Marshall and McClain line up on opposite sides of the field. If McClain develops, that still could happen, but the graphic seems to ignore that by PFF's own metrics, Moore was graded out as Florida's best player on defense in 2023.

I think Devin Moore and Jason Marshall will be the starters on the corners.

Probably so. With some good depth and future building blocks.

Looking forward to finally having a secondary that can press and be aggressive.

Now that he is healthy, Devin Moore is the real deal and probably our most talented CB.

I didn't expect McClain to be a factor this year - is he really thought be a potential starter?

Not a starter this year, unless forced into it! His agreement seems to be based upon incentives prior to the field.

Well Dabo may be right that this one couldn't play on his team (at least right now). He got picked on badly last year. I don't think he is near the two deep at this point.

When has Moore ever proven he can stay healthy? I wouldn’t expect too much from him.

Not excited about Cormani. Players that bounce around usually do not have it. He might mature, might be talented, might surprise, but its not likely… possible, but not likely. Its encouraging that he took a deal but also shows he had few options remaining. That he was sober enough to accept that says something.

Devin Moore is an absolute stud. Let's hope he can play all year. McClain is a potential stud with the right nurturing. I think our coaching staff can provide that.

Imo you have Marshall, Moore, Jackson and Johnson ahead of him, and Bridges and Denson can move over to play cb in an emergency, so I think he is buried for this year and can develop his body and learn.
