According to some observers Napier is pleased with George's development this spring and forsee's good things. He is one massive individual!

"Sounds like Fletcher Westphal, Caden Jones, and Roderick Kearney are expected to contribute well. Austin Barber and Kam Waites are expected to go this fall"

Big deal here IMO. The desperately needed depth and we need Barber and Waites ready to go as big contributors. I would love to see a GC article on this units development once fall camp arrives. Lets face it, as always, this unit may hold the key to UF's success. I think, on paper, it may be napiers best group so far.

I'm old school but I still forsee a balanced attack as a big part of Napiers scheme. UF must simply run the ball. No if ands or buts. This may be overly optimistic but
I would really hope with the running back room, some huge offensive lineman and added depth, that UF approaches 200 ypg. Throw in Lagway whom almost certainly will get run packages and I don't think 200 should be a stretch if the line is playing well. Of course they are up against a TON of very good defenses in the SEC.

I don't need to explain to this forum what 200 ypg on the ground would mean. Personally I am hoping for a passing attack that yields 275 - 300 ypg.
500 YPG offense with a revamped defense puts UF in competitive position.

I don't think your expectations are unrealistic. Our WR's should be an absolute terror; and our running backs should be beasts; what will make that happen will be on the OL. My confidence level is very high (8 or 9 out of ten) that the OL will deliver. The defense will also have to not allow long, sustained, clock-eating drives as well.

BTW, I intended to mention to you, maybe you could contact one of the moderators and ask how you could pass along the suggestion to Gator Country. Excellent suggestion, as far as I am concerned!

I hope that is not a "slap", merely posting my opinions.

He obviously gets it. Good for the Gator's D-line.

I heard a Podcaster mention the OL will be better this year, but he doesn't think it will be that much better. The OL, he thinks, is the only weakness on the team. I think the OL will be fine. The glaring weakness may be ST's!

The oline can’t be a weakness or it will be a bad year again. Oline is where it all starts on o.

We have good kickers and plenty of returners. I would. Like to see some blocks.

If the OL is the team weakness it will be a long year
