Jeez some of those stories are downright awful. Interesting how many police get arrested for child sex abuse crimes. I think they're #1 when it comes to domestic abuse too.

Apparently "we" aren't. The content found in the links you posted certainly doesn't edify or enlighten the reader, nor is it intended to expose corrupt cops.

My best advice to anyone objecting to a thread or its contents is don't open it, don't read it. Save yourself the aggravation; squelch the resentment early.

Speaking of police misconduct, this appears to be the opposite, a perfectly justified shooting. But it also provides a clue as to how to think about such incidents. Be very suspicious when police hold onto the body cam video and refuse to release. Because they certainly get it out immediately when it’s exculpatory

A lot of detail about attempts to use non lethal methods without success before shooting. You will have to read as too many paragraphs

Two Hillsborough sheriff’s deputies fatally shot a man in front of a Plant City worship center after he refused commands to drop a sharp object and advanced toward them on Tuesday, Sheriff Chad Chronister said.

The incident began about 2:20 a.m., when priests at the Divine Mercy Prayer House, 2905 S. Frontage Road, called 911 to report that a man they didn’t recognize was banging on the windows of the building and saying he was going to kill them, Chronister said at a news conference at the scene.

    But this caught my eye

Portions of video captured by St. John’s and Sanchez’s body cameras and released later Tuesday show the man jumping back and forth behind the worship center’s gate and holding something in his right hand. He doesn’t respond when one of the deputies asks his name or what he’s holding. One deputy says it may be “a shard of glass or a knife.”

    Same day video release!

I just read the article sounds like the cops did everything they could not to have to shoot him. One thing I find bizarre is the article didn’t identify the worship center. I am guessing it was a mosque or a temple.

That is one of the things I object to about this thread....Don't we already have a thread to expose corrupt cops. One has to wonder why so many threads are combined when there is already a thread on the subject but this one slipped by when we already have a 30 page police corruption thread. The links I posted are all this months articles from the web site the OP got this story from. The difference is the story that started this thread is 2 years old.

Your dating is incorrect but you have a point. The drug sale arrest occurred in February, 2021, but he was sentenced in October of 2022. The article you linked in Slate and other publications gave no indication why there was a delay in reporting former cop's conviction and sentencing. Being the story was that old the thread should have been deleted from the forum's list of threads. I apologize for the oversight.

When reporting a thread it helps the Mods to square a thread topic with the forum's policy if it is reported with a reminder / mention that directly objects or addresses any infraction of Too Hot policy or rules you may find on a thread.

We all know how much you object to your beloved cops being exposed. As long as they keep breaking the law, I'll keep exposing them and there's nothing you can do about it.

LOL hope you are proud of finding a story that was over 2 years ago by locating in on a website designed for people with a sick mind. This story was dead and out of the news 2 years ago.
