They enjoy an inherent physical advantage due to legacy muscle mass and structure long after transition and hormone decreases. Testosterone may be at low levels but legacy effects remain long after.

    That's not universally true.

That's not actually true. Those that are taking hormones lose all of their muscle

It wouldn't shock me to see Sasse go after the governorship in the next go around.

I don't see it happening. You've got Gaetz, Patronis and Moody who all want the job. The GOP shot themselves in the foot when they blocked the bill that would prevent winner take all in a primary. You have four or five candidates running I wouldn't be surprised if Gaetz wins the whole thing due to the current rule

Idk I'm betting a lot of conservatives are tiring of the dog and pony show. I sure am.

Sasse might not be a bad moderate Republican option for governor. He MUST be thinking about it at least a little.

Less bad than the other options. But unless the Republican primary electorate has a shift in thinking, I don't see him beating out a more MAGA option.

here to serve myself up some crow if the IOC is to be believed. It should be noted this is the same IOC that just looked the other way when 29 chinese swimmers all tested positive for a banned drug so they are not beyond political persuasion when researching issues and rendering opinions. It would be interesting to understand when after they started transition these athletes were tested.

Science comes to conclusion on transgender athletes (msn.com)

In recent months and years, the issue of whether or not transgender women should be permitted to compete in women’s sports has become hotly and fiercely debated, but a recent study provides some very interesting conclusions, suggesting that transgender women may actually be at a disadvantage to other women.

According to a recent study financed by the International Olympic Committee, transgender women do not have the clear physical and athletic benefits over other women that critics seem to believe that they do. In fact, there are several areas where transgender women have a disadvantage compared to other women.

“A new study financed by the International Olympic Committee found that transgender female athletes showed greater handgrip strength — an indicator of overall muscle strength — but lower jumping ability, lung function and relative cardiovascular fitness compared with women whose gender was assigned female at birth,” the New York Times reported.

“That data, which also compared trans women with men, contradicted a broad claim often made by proponents of rules that bar transgender women from competing in women’s sports. It also led the study’s authors to caution against a rush to expand such policies, which already bar transgender athletes from a handful of Olympic sports.”

Those states will then lose federal funding for their public education. All because they want to discriminate against members of the LGBTQ community. Sad.

If that happens it will only be for 4 months because if they try to enforce Biden's executive order it will more than likely bring Trump back into office.
