I'm surprised the NCAA is so quiet in all this... not really. I'll bet real money that they knew about this problem.

Presidents’ Day is nonsense, First thing I’m doing when I rise to power is getting Washington and Lincoln’s birthdays as separate holidays

Their NIL program is lacking and can not keep up with the wealthier programs and Sabin knew it. That is why he retired.

It did not take much money to recruit 5 star players as long as it was illegal, something was better than nothing. Now that it is legal, a poor state like Alabama is going to have trouble keeping up.

Saban openly admitted, that he told his players to follow the program and the money will be there. He used that to hold his roster together and knew all year he was retiring. Well the players followed the program and the money was not there, so they left.

When i think of the 2025 NFL draft…am I off in who I can see being drafted:

    Mertz
    Trell
    Marshall
    James (if he declares)
    Cam Jackson
    Slackmon
Barber (if he improves and leaves)
Devin Moore (if he stays healthy)
    Asa Turner

So obviously Ricky came to Florida with talent and route running but stroud compliments his growth and improvement year to year at Florida. People hate on Billy G and I understand his recruiting has been less than what we want but the guy produces. People like to make jokes about his focus on blocking as well as our route trees (they did this with Mullen's offense too) but all Billy does is keep putting receivers in the league. Crazy he doesn't get more talent lining up to be developed by him.

I can see that. Moore & Barber would be the questionable ones IMO

yea Moore would need to be All-SEC type to even consider leaving cause even if he balls out this year, he doesn’t have enough tape to leave.

Barber probably stays though. Tackles rarely leave early unless they’re first or second rounders which he isn’t at THIS POINT IN TIME

Stroud comes across as a student of the game already. I'm not a Buckeye fan, but I'm starting to like him in Houston. Clearly insiders know Ricky is the real deal.

If recruits are keeping track, Ohio State has 2-3 five star WRs every year. They had one 1st round draft pick as did Florida.

Ohio State plays in a cupcake league and Florida plays a tough schedule every year.

Really weak UF draft class. NFL does not see too much talent on roster either. We should have 5-6 drafted each year.

Barber played injured all last year... He will surprise everyone this coming season if he's 100% healthy.

    Last year was an anomaly.
