I was young enough that the Vietnam war ended before I graduated high school ion 76. I do remember a lot of what went on with student protest through the years, being a short bike ride from campus growing up and my mother working more than 30 years in Tigert Hall. Great memories of Gainesville and UF in those days even with all the problems of the times.

I was on campus when Angela Davis and Jane Fonda gave seperate speeches on the lawn (different dates) while William F Buckley gave a speech in the UA.
