MN State Senator arrested for Burglary

I’m just going by the Too Hot “Conservative” standard of criminal justice, which is that no set of facts matter until there is a conviction. Ergo OJ was “totally exonerated” by a jury of his peers. Of course, some of our “conservatives” tend to also discount actual convictions. So I guess justice is now whatever our gut feelz are. Damn the facts.

 

Mark Twain said in one of my favorite quotes: "You never know a man until you share an inheritance with him." I have often found that to be true..

 

He lived with it till he died. I suspect that he got away with murder, and I was angry with the verdict. But I accepted it and moved on.

 

This went south in a hurry.

I won't say this is normal behavior, but I could see plenty of folks doing it. (My dad's side of the family had a huge fallout years before I was born over the handling of my great-grandmother's estate.) It's sad that things escalated to that level, and she made a poor choice in doing what she did.

Doesn't seem remotely necessary here. I'd say that regardless of the person's political affiliation. We should use prison to remove dangerous people from the streets. Reading the circumstances of what happened here, does this strike you as a dangerous person? Punish her? Sure (if she's guilty). Throw the book at her? No.

 

When did that become a rule? We need a test case. Everybody negative vote all of Tilly's posts. We need to make sure this rule is real.

6 posts in is a little early to be calling for the banning of people but in short order you should have no problem avoiding the ilk with the ignore option. Bluke is the least noxious and he communicates almost entirely by gif so it’s easy to scroll by. Important not to ignore all of them all the time so as to understand what they’re thinking.
