Reed Shepherd declares for the draft

Oof. That was the one guy UK fans universally wanted on their roster next year.

 

He's being projected as a top 5 pick so he has to go. Personally, I think he's a great college player but I don't think he's going to have that kind of success in the NBA.

 

With his draft projections I don’t see how this was even a question.

Surprised me, too, but it is a very weak draft, and 2025 is apparently loaded.

 

He is a good player but I wouldn’t say great . He plays bad defense and can’t create on a high level . He is not All American .

 

It was expected and he needed to go. We have two players we need at least 10 more. Let the rebuilding begin! Fun times ahead.

 

Lottery pick, absolute no brainer.

 

I'm no UK fan, but I respect them. Aside from winning, UF and UK are allies in the mission of gatekeeping success from every other SEC school. We need UK to be good to help us in that task.

Was ranked 73rd in his class or something like that, shot over 50% from 3 and won freshman of the year. And Cal didn’t start him or the other lottery pick we had.

 

52% from 3…he’ll be just fine in the nba.
