Diminished and Confused - Is Trump OK?

You don't think "vote for Trump because Biden is senile ..." has lost a little of its power? ... actually, it probably hasn't. The same folks who claimed "Trump tells it like it is" for eight years still probably think he's sharp as a tack.

 

While I don't think Trump's rather obvious symptoms that he's becoming more cognitively diminished will affect his support among his hardcore supporters who believe that he is the second coming his bizarre behavior could affect his support among the swing voters that will determine which candidate wins the 2024 election.

 

True: there is literally nothing he could do or say to lose his hard core base.

 

Trump is indeed old and confused. Biden is even older and more confused.

Yes older, but I have heard him speak many times and have yet to see him confused. Yes, he gets tongue tied, and it throws him for a second, but it isn't this mindless diarrhea of the mouth that Diaper Don displays every time he goes off script.

Better yet is watching Trump try to read a teleprompter when a three or more syllable word pops up. That is comedy gold!

I can get stumbling and making errors when speaking off the cuff, but confusing situations and people in written messages, when you have time to think about them, is very dementia like.
