Good a.m. GATORS, I was scanning a good site- S.I. VAULT- a Sports Illustrated archives site, and I pulled up the old Dec.2,1972 edition with S.O.S. on the cover, when he was with S.F. 49'ers(an old one that I have at the house but it's easier to pull up) and that was the apex of his time in S.F.. It's funny because they refer to Steve as quiet, laid-back, a wallflower... boy, how he came out of his shell! Anyway, a pretty good article on the ole ball coach. I turned the page(literally)and the next article was on the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry. They talked about old Woody and his protege' Bo and ... and in the article they referred to their recent game where Chuck Heater carried the ball! Our Coach Chuck Heater! That was fun.Check out that web site-S.I. Vault. You can look up any old S.I. edition ever published! This is a really good web site for Gators to get together and share. It's Great to be a Florida.
