Gator Country

right now extremely windy yet still warm, in the low fifties..raining.
we have a wild ride ahead for the next two days it appears though. they haven't worked out the details tomorrow, so i don't know what's going on, but we have a severe winter weather warning from monday 6am thru tuesday sometime....
i think it'll be ok here to drive til afternoon sometime. its tuesday i'm worried about. and we're talking (supposedly) significant icing. snow's not bad, you can drive in it, but unless...

just a quick note...tired from a cold and rainy day, and getting the handouts and material ready for the new doctors to learn. i'm always a bit nervous before a physician education meeting. so i spent tonight 'rebuilding the pub' and enjoyed doing so. i think it was great to start over. got to put fave songs up on the new music thread, stuff i am positive i've posted before. same with the commercials. glad to see the boring thread picking back up, hope to see pmc soon, we've seen kyle today....

oh yeah baby, we've done it again...or rather, our exalted gators have done it again...going to the national title again.....
and even my hubby got a piece of the pie....kentucky got a higher ranked bowl than the last two year's appearances at the music city bowl....they moved on up to the liberty bowl.
lots of things going on. holidays almost upon us, another NC within our grasp, my son doing alright in the marines so far....

well its late friday night, or i guess more specifically, early saturday morning. another week gone. (another day another dollar?)
looks like i'm the last one up (again) so i'll turn the lights out before i leave..

contemplating how this year has seemingly flown by. its not been a year since i had that driveway accident and almost lost the leg, has it? oh yes it has. i remember i couldn't do a lot of decorating for the holidays last year because i was hobbled.

well the weather outside is frightful....nothing delightful about it. came on too fast. wasn't ready. caught me by surprise. i can deal with the low sixties/high fifties during the day, and lows in the forties or thirties at night, which is the norm for this part of the year...but no. coupla days only got into the thirties for a high, and low twenties at night. a nippy (means 'wear a thick bra') 19 degrees tomorrow night predicted.
and we had a real windy day, complete with leaves blowing...
