No ejection for UT facemask on the opening kickoff?

Posted 09-20-2009 at 09:34 AM by adamgator96
I was at the Swamp, but I didn't notice the violence until I just watched the replay at home.

The UT player should have been ejected IMO. He used his full body weight and would've been happy if Brandon's head had come off in the helmet. There were two refs within 15 feet, and each of them saw it clearly.

ah, the healthcare mystique

Posted 08-23-2009 at 11:21 PM by vertigo0923
such a loaded topic these days, with so much untruth floating around and its so hard for some to pluck the real from the unreal. and its surprizing to me that no one has picked up on the fact that naturally, big insurance companies would not want these proposals to pass, to save their own skins and their own profits, which, during the last 7 yrs exceeded a 400% increase. and these very companies hold some very public figures in their pockets. lets get down to brass tacks: the uninsured cost us a...

Rascal Flatts gave Tim a football and was trying to get him to throw the ball out into the crowd. After signing the football, Tim acted like he was going to throw it and instead handed it out to a concert fan near the stage.

Tim stayed on stage with Rascal Flatts and walked up and down the stage signing autographs for...

Hi Folks,

It looks like we're being moved up to AAA from the Bush Leagues and I'm so excited that I just put my dentures in backwards, or something to that effect.

The new blog will be called Southern Football Insider and will be seen on Page 2 of Gator Country. I hope that you'll drop by from time-to-time, read some posts, comment, get involved in the discussion, and generally just relax and hang out a while.

My approach is going to be simple: to give...

Integrating the Spread and the I-Form

Posted 07-06-2009 at 05:34 PM by Naphta (Naphtaville)
Quick thoughts on integrating the Spread Option and the I-Formation. It might not appear on the surface to be rocket science, but there can be some considerations that if not dealt with properly would show play-calling tendencies due to the limitations of each formation. One consideration is that the Spread and the I-Formation are not simply different formations, they are different offensive philosophies. Plays that work from the spread don't necessarily work from the I.

Can the...
