Gator @ Alabama

Within the next year I should be attending the University of Alabama. I hope I can survive. My entire closet is basically nothing but Gators. Know that if I stop posting that I have most likely been killed by the enemy and prime suspect #1 should be Nick Saban. If not him doing the job next would be the football team and then down the line. I plan to have a show on the University radio station. I already have some connections with that. I will be unbiased, but I will let it be known I am a Gator.

That's okay, I almost went to FSU. I even wore FSU gear around to get myself acclimated. I credit my wearing FSU gear with the decline of that program. I jinxed them so badly it's not even funny. Thankfully, I did get to go to UF.Posted 12-11-2008 at 09:47 PM by Vindibudd

Would you like to consider a piece of advice from an old radio guy ?
If you get a show in Alabama..DON'T say anything about being a Gator !
You'll get so much grief and hate that you will never get past it !
Once you are identified as being a Gator..the Tide fans will NEVER give you a break or give you any credit for being a fair sports journalist..no matter how good you are.
Think about it..don't sabotage your career.
