Girls of Gator Country Calendar Preview

Folks,

Due to popular demand last year, we've decided to roll out a brand new "Girls of Gator Country" calendar in a very classy format that features fellow girls who are Florida Gator fanatics.

All are Florida Gators - some are former players (volleyball, for example), some are cheerleaders, some are students, etc. All bleed Orange and Blue!

I'll preview each month in this special blog so you can see what's coming.

The calendar has been professionally designed by our own Jason Farmand (our magazine designer), photographed by Tim Casey, and will be printed by the same excellent printer that prints our magazine on high quality, glossy paper. It'll be shrink wrapped as well.

Even better, the calendar lists all the Gator sports events within so you won't miss anything!

The proceeds from this calendar will go towards purchasing new, professional camera equipment for our photographer, Tim, so we can bring even BETTER photos to you of games and more in the future!

Our Gator Country Store is taking pre-orders to guage interest so we can have an idea of how many to order. This will be a limited, one time only run, so now is a great time to get your order in and reserve your extra special, exclusive Girls of Gator Country Calendar!

I'm happy to see everyone is excited for the calendar! It was a lot of hard work to put together, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy what I do.

Jason Farmand did an excellent job on the design, I'm very pleased with how it turned out. If we sell enough of these, there will be a 2010 calendar on the horizon.
As Ray said, all of the proceeds go towards the purchase of camera equipment for me to use in covering events and shooting portraits for Gator Country magazine and GatorCountry.com, so feel free to buy extras to give out as Christmas gifts!

The clothes and swimwear were provided by the GatorCountry.com store and Freeride Surf Shop. Tanning was done by LAE Salon, Hair by Elegant Image, makeup by Jen Stark. It was shot on location at Crescent Beach, St. Augustine Beach, Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, Cabana Beach Apartments and The Woodlands Apartments.

Listen to the Gator Country radio show from 7-10am in the next couple of months to hear the models make football predictions and talk about being in the calendar!
