Must do destinations?

What's up? Gator Nation, Heading to Orlando/Tampa for the holiday weekend. Any recommendations on good restraunts in Orlando, nice steakhouse and great place for some sushi?

If you don't mind a hole-in-the-wall, there is a restaurant called High Tide Harrys on 436, just north of Highway 50 (Colonial Drive). It is a seafood restaurant. For $9.99 they have 12-15 entries that include huge portions of fried shrip, Mahi Mahi or 6oz Crab Cake thats all chunk crab and only enough filler to hold it together, etc. The portions are huge and the quality is all very good. It is not generally noisy.
The Stonewood grill in Lake Mary, one near Millenia Mall too I think, offers moderately priced American cuisine. Generally main courses with salad and two veggies runs $18 to $26. I enjoy it too but the portions at High Tides are larger, just as good or better and half the price.
Of course we have Mortons, Ruths Chris, etc if you want to pay $50 for a hunk of meat, ala carte.Posted 06-02-2009 at 10:53 AM by gatormike51
