Morning Pubsters! Off to DC in an hour or so for a conference. Only staying two days, which is still going to cost me about 450.00 minimum. But I'll get to see many friends from my days in Gainesville, so it's worth every penny.

I love the Ladies volleyball sweep against UGA. Any day we beat Georgia at anything is a good day. Coach Wise said even as a coach it would be difficult to find fault with the play in that sweep.

Gotta love the smell of hot chainsaw & fresh cut trees, getting the place ready for the Grandkids :) Pick'em up today, drop'em off on Wednesday afternoon :)

To me this is the kind of season that thr phrase 'In all kinds of weather' was coined for, anyone can be a Gator fan when they are winning and in the hunt for conferenxe of national championships, seasons like this are when we separate the Gators from the pretenders.

I am happy for the win. Am I the only one who thinks that besides that debacle of the 1st Quarter and the long rushing td (which was aided by a clear holding non-call) that our boys didn't look all that bad? Call it sunshine colored glasses, but I thought they showed some mettle with the way they responded after getting smacked in the grill.

We were traveling yesterday and when I said good morning didn't really read just hit the road but I agree with this completely.

Good morning one and all from Kissimmee. We are here for the week and will attend the FSU game Sat.

Speaking of the Grandchildren, six of our and one granddaughter-in-law will be here.

Good Morning and HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO all of you
Thankful for many things... praying for a couple of miracles and If you would add this to your list:
Kaitlin LaBuda is a UF grad and sorority sister of our daughter~ and was in a horrible car wreck earlier in the week.

Kaitlin is currently in the ICU at St. John’s Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO and receiving excellent care.

At this time, an MRI needs to be performed to determine the extent of her injuries. This will hopefully be done tomorrow; however, between the third and fifth day after an injury of this nature, the brain typically swells which influences when the MRI will be done. Right now, the doctors are monitoring her closely.

We are asking for your continued prayers as the next few days are so very critical. We are grateful to so many of you that are praying. We need a miracle and know that our God can heal her. Please pray for a miracle for Kaitlin.

Morning Gators. I am meeting the kids at 2:00 for the trip to Gainesville. I will be cheering loud and long for the team. I think we have a very good chance since it has been reported that all are finally healthy, well most anyway. Noles are really not that good. Their wins have not been against highly ranked teams either. If they had our schedule they would know why we lost the ones we did. Go Gators!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning Gators, been doing chores while my wife was working on the interweb, sharing one aircard is one of the travails of our country living lifestyle. Thought the kids played hard in the Carrier Dome last night while a win would have been very nice I think these tough road games are going to pay dividends for the Gators at the end of the season and in the Dance :)

I wasn't torn, but I will admit that I grew up a raging Cuse basketball fan. I also went to undergrad just a half our south of the city and used to go to at least a few games at the dome every year. Tough loss but Cuse always fields a good team.

Well we had good news and not so good news. He has been eating some of the wrong foods, but is making progress. It will take a long time for him to recognize the signal to go when it is time. Those muscles were dormant for a long time, they just have to tone up again. He gave him some exercises to do. My Husband is just impatient to be normal again and to get on with his life. It may take up to a year for that to happen. We sure have gotten an education on the effects of radiation. It is the price you pay for surviving cancer. That is the best thing of all about this whole thing. He is cancer free and I still have him, thank you God.

I wish you all a happy Tuesday and I appreciate all of my Gator buddies caring and prayers of support.

Happy Hump day. I just wanted to remind all that today is Pearl Harbor Day. A day that will live in Infamy. Patriotism was high after President Roosevelt's speech. My Dad tried to enlist, but was turned down due to being shot in the leg when he was sixteen in a hunting accident. He was a welder with Food machinery Corp. in Lakeland. They were requisitioned by the military to build the tanks for the war, the water buffalo. He ended up doing something very important and was very proud of that work. He eventually taught welding school. The best student he had was a Lady Named Olive Price.

I LOVE it Mama~ love cooking in it too. Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary and Merry Christmas rolled into one. The process was long and trying with workers underfoot for a couple of months but well worth it in the end.

Today some of my "best friends" at work and I are celebrating the arrival of a new baby ~next month. A new little boy BABY GATOR!!!
Found the cutest "custom made" outfit for him with a burping towel.

If you ever need "game day" for the kids let me know and I'll give you her info. She ships out of Tampa. Good lady she works at the church preschool where I taught kindergarten many moons ago.

Morning Pubsters!

Just got back from two weeks in Japan. Stayed away from the internet most of the time, which was nice. Wife, M-i-L, and I went to Okinawa for a few days while there, to visit her niece who goes to college there, and to sight see. Very cool place.

Didn't realize just how big our military presence was there though (even though I was in the military). Two huge air bases within 15 kms of each other and military folk everywhere. If you ever have the chance, go to Japan, and definitely go to Okinawa. Lot's to do and see.

Oh, and the unfortunate thing is that we didn't get to see the bowl win over the osu (espn streaming is blocked in Japan) and our cable was "out" so it didn't record the game, which sux. Just glad they won and shut up the bucknuts and the sideshow about Urban.

Anyway, it's great to be back and always great to be a Florida Gator!

today. She passed on January 9th in 07, right after the 06, National Championship game. It was a bitter sweet morning. Her funeral service was on her Birthday that year.

Juggled a GREAT EVALUATION today out of the boss lady..... lots of High marks.

Now I feel better after that hour long observation was complete.

Now to continue my "writing bootcamp" so the kids are ready to do their best at the end of February. We are making "tracks" people.... WAHOOOOOOO!

Gosh, haven't been here in forever--after the changes had been made.
I'm glad I made the venture back. It's still a great place.
Been busy making quilts---one for first Grandson, one for BFF, one for Bay Pines Vet Hospital, and the next one for BFF's first grandchild... I've become a sewing machine...LOL I'm actually sewing it all by hand.
Sad that the Bronco's lost, but Tim had LITTLE help.

Good afternoon all. Just got back from NYC this morning. I did a whirlwind tour with a friend of mine who lives there. I was at ground zero and saw times square and the gardens where the Knicks play. I only saw the Statue of Liberty from a distance because it was just too darn cold to go out there. Went through all the burrows and throught the Brooklyn battery tunnel. Out to Long Island sound and got out of the car at the boardwalk, but the wind was frigid. I enjoyed it except for the cold. Tomorrow will bring rain and some snow, just missed it. Many of the houses are old and very quaint. Living expenses are through the roof. I have been invited back when it is a little warmer. It was 16% when I left wind chill was probably about half that, felt like 8%.

Nope didn't go to the top of Empire State building. It was just too darn cold. I have been invited back when it gets warmer. It was fun, exciting, loved the old buildings and quaint houses all over New York. There is just so much hustle and bustle every where you go.
