Morning all! :wave: Looking forward to a weekend of shopping and relaxing. I've spent the last 3 weekends painting different rooms throughout the house. I"m over DIY for a bit.

Alcove beind the entertainment center in the family room - a burgandy terra cotta

Guest bedroom - put up chair rail (yes, I have a compound miter saw!) I love tools, and painted a deepish blue under the rail

Also painted the furniture white for the above bedroom. It was black - had to sand it, prime it and put 2-3 coats on each piece.

Painted the guest bath pink from the floor up to the counter height. Then put a pink border all around at counter height.

She is going to be teaching the pre-k class at Imagine School Town Center in Palm Coast, may move up to K or 1 or possible Media Specialist when she finishes her degree next spring. We are all excited for her :)

I loved my time as a 4 year old teacher... did when mine were young. LOVED IT. Then as they aged, I moved to 2nd and 3rd and 6th then landed in fourth many moons ago ( 20+ years) Love the 10 year olds for sure.

I'm back from Ahiya. My great aunt in Akron is 86 and 70 yr. old my mom is taking care of her 24/7. My aunt in Indy is in the hospital but getting better, my uncle in Texas is having heart surgery today. Worker's comp lied to me again and now say they have no budget to let me take the exams I need to get A+ certified for a decent job. I'm about to go postal.

Got my errands done and now, here I am!! :grin:

Morning all, a little early. My Husband is still in ICU, Trauma Unit. The OT came in and showed him how to get out of bed, which was very painful and he hollered, but he has to be able to walk to the bathroom and back before he can go to a regular room, third night there. I feel good about him because they are so well trained. They took a drain tube out and his NG tube out of his nose, more better. They changed his stoma for the colostomy and removed the bar they had left in the hole to keep the intestine in place until they knew for sure it would stay. They haven't done anything to the Urostomy bag yet. He is having a hard time keeping his oxygen level up. They got him up just before I left and had him walk down the hall and back and he was in a chair for two hours. He has to use that breathing exercise thing every 20 minutes when he is awake. They had him trying to cough hard to get any congestion up. He sure doesn't need to get pneumonia.

He can have clear liquids slowly at first. He could have to wait another four days before he gets solid food.

Good Sunday morning all. I am heading to the hospital all. He is happy to see me and sad when I leave at night, but the sleeping couch in that room gets hard. He is in a regular private room, lucked out there, and is scheduled for PT and other things. We still have not been schooled yet in caring for the Stomas. God Bless them all for the sacrifices they make for us every day. One of my Husbands visiting students is in the Air Force. Her specialty will be an Ostomy nurse. There is a real need for this with the devastating injuries our Guys are suffering now. She observed the care for his two bag changes. She was very polite and sweet, and remembered to thank him for letting her observe the procedure.

Morning all Pubsters.

We had an outing yesterday to see the Elk herd in the Smoky Mountain National Park. The started a herd of about 25 10 years ago or so, there are now 125 including 17 youngsters. They are magnificent animals.

Took lots of pictures. I know, I took lots in Maine to and haven't done anything with them. However we have a Photoshop expert staying with us this week and he started with the basics, organizing our files and new downloads. They are all on the new iMac and using Time Machine to back up.

Some lessons in how to open the pictures in camera raw and accomplish most of what I want to do right there. So when they are gone, and I have finally filed my income tax I am tackling my pictures in reverse order.

Yesterday, then Maine then go from there.

13 days to kickoff.

Good Sunday morning all, glad I am not going to the Hospital today, well so far, so good. I am ready for some football. Real football, not that fake Pro stuff. V, stress is a killer, I know. Don't let the back to work blues get you down, Mama said so.

No stress just four bulletin boards , new inventory to acct for and distribute, copies to make. Just the set up is tiring and it seems I just took all down. Ready for this to be over and deal with the kids. Did 25 miles on the Pinellas Trail today. Now let the errands begin
