Just thought I would post an update. The wife's surgery is behind us and she is home and healthy. Turned out she only had to have one stent. They used a balloon (angioplasty) on the other two arteries. She is fine but she is working me for the sympathy. i don't care, I'm happy. Thank you all so much for your prayers and kind words.

Yeah, I hit the road at 55. Tooo many changes happening that I didn't agree with. I was department head. The AP that I ordered textbooks through thought it was very funny that she had lied to me and I knew it. Not conducive to a working relationship.
I miss working with the students, but I DON'T miss the BS and lack of support of teachers by administration.
If you aren't in DROP, do it!!! It is like found money.

working on my YEAR IN FOURTH GRADE MOVIE today to burn for each child and A YEAR WITH OUR KINDERGARTEN BUDDIES.... things I love, but they require lots of editing and work. I know as a parent I treasured those types of gifts so I hope the parents do too.

Ronde Barber is stopping by next week to congratulate my class for kicking some tail on FCAT WRITES ~ so the 16 sports loving boys are PUMPED up the 6 ladies have grown to love it for I have shared my passion all year. Fun times for the kids!

I have never lost my awe of the incredible heroic acts he performed to earn his medals. He was absolutely fearless. A fighting machine. This day belongs to our deceased Military heroes, those who loved them, and for those who supported them. God Bless them all and God Bless America.
