Morning Gators! Got all of the research papers done! I'm so glad that I had printed a hard rough draft of my English paper. My laptop crashed and I had to purchase a new one; I didn't have my files backed up on a scan drive. My history paper was a complete loss and I had to start all over.

The stress is gone and today is the last day of classes for the week. Now I can relax with the weekend off and go to the Indy race in Birmingham Sunday.

A little word of advice. Purchase an external hard drive and use a back up service, many are pretty cheap. In this day and age, with the recovery programs available, even those already built into ms word & windows, you shouldn't have to worry too much about losing papers, especially since it can be really depressing to have to rewrite.

Sitting on the back porch watching the birds and our garden bunny having their breakfast. The bunny had been eating all the bird seed so I finally decided to get him (I hope its a he) rabbit food.....I'm a sucker , I know.....

And once you have him fattened up you can have rabbit stew, yum ;)

Rabbit stew recipe includes rabbit, onions, celery, carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, and red wine.

1 rabbit, about 3 pounds, cut up
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup chopped celery
2 medium onions, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
1 bay leaf
4 cups water
4 cups dry red wine
2 cups diced carrots
4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
4 ounces sliced mushrooms, sauteed
1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Happy Saturday all. I'm heading out to do errands, pick up a few groceries. Slinky I am a bunny lover as well. We watch the cottontails and swamp rabbits come up to eat the bird seed and grass.

A pox on those who eat rabbits. We see coons an occasional bobcat and many beautiful birds. We have only seen one hummer this year as the storm wrecked my bottle brush blooms. We are on a small lake, so we enjoy all sorts of wildlife, except for the seven foot gator in my garage. There I draw the line.
