Very late to the party this morning, up late last night listening to Granddaughter's tales from the Gymnastics meet in the O'Dome and Saturday morning agenda started with putting corn out for the deer, swing pushing, serving as a catcher for tree climbing, several nature lesson, pancake cook and finally luggage bearer. Too quiet in the house now, wife is off to get her motorcycle for a day of riding and GD & her mom are nearly back to Palm Coast. They are extra excited because the Gvl Sun picture from the meet last night shows the 3 of them watching Maranda Smith triumph in the floor exercise :)

It's here!!!!!!No not Saturday, it's FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!Cute jumping pooh bear V. Yesterday was a good day. Any day to beat the Doggone Dogs is a good day. Whew!!!!!!They played stinky in the first half. Billy D musta blistered the paint on the walls at half time. They came on and played like they had a mission in the second half. Played like they were an SEC championship team. I'm proud of Parsons for the toughness he showed.

Too late for early riser. I left at six AM for Lakeland. Two appts. at the Watson Clinic. A viewing for a classmate of mine who passed away and visited two Brothers at Lakeland Regional. Both inherited Mom and Dad's heart problems. One is dying, the other had an aortic valve replacement. I felt so bad for the one. He only has one lung, can't qualify for heart transplant. Kidney's and liver too bad. My Husband thought he had it tough. He is counting his blessings now. V, teacher of the year. She has my vote.

Oh yeah. Major staff command working for an Admiral. Could be worse, I could be deployed away from the family. I know that and respect that however, when you are "dialed in" a certain way it is hard for me to sit at a desk and do briefs all day for the man! It's all good though, I am close to retiring now, so I need to start thinking of what I want to be when I grow up.

Bill, I am sure I will find something but it needs to be something I enjoy. I have the luxury of drawing a decent retirement stipend every month that a lot of folks don't. I don't think I want to work DOD as a civilian. Teaching young minds might be in the cards but, my patience is thin with the youth of today. We'll see.

Only can put my building skills to work once every half-century! I was a 17 yo kid when I helped build that place. Beautiful country up there in the fall!

A beautiful spring day wish for all to have a great day. I am going to watch my 17 year old Grand Son play Lacrosse tonight. He plays for the Durant High School Cougars. I don't know a thing about the game, but I guess I will learn. I have my t-shirt with his name on the back. Does that make me a cougar? Lol.

Off to a good Gator start this weekend, Miami went down, Softball won again, Gymnastics finished the regular seaon by beating Utah on the road and the Lady Gator roundballers made a great showing before falling to the Lady Vols in the SEC Tourney- today I'm looking for another win over the Canes and for a Dore slamming W in Nashville to give the Gators an out right SEC regular season Crown!!

That's my kind of sports weekend, jjh! All of the above, plus it's "Tim Tebow, the Weekend" at Disney World. (ESPN may as well change the name) Tim has been on camera and being interviewed all over the place. Throngs of fans. I caught a bit about Urban as well. They played a sports trivia game with the fans.
