Hope cooler heads can prevail and stability will reign and reforms can be put in place that provide people with viable economic opportunities and human rights.

I teach at a Community College in North Carolina. Not much demand for subs there.

However I know in the local public schools there is and in Florida when I lived in Kissimmee there was a pretty big demand.

You have to go to the local school board to find out how to get qualified and on the list. The phone calls come real early in the morning. :(

I actually did very little subbing. By the time I got on the list I was teaching as an adjunct at the community college and saw a path to possibly working that to full time. To do that I had to take four graduate level math courses at UCF.

Between the courses and my classes I didn't accept much and eventually took my name off the list. It ended out working out for me.

I might add that after not having a math corse for over 30 years, taking and passing those four courses was one of the hardest things I ever did in college. I didn't set the world on fire but I did make it.

Good morning on the day after signing day.

As soon as I get out of class tomorrow we are headed to Jacksonville where we will go to the 50th anniversary party for my longest term friend. I've known him since about the 5th grade. I was his best man and he was mine. We get to see them about 4-5 times a year.

You bet, mama. Count me among those that think Muschamp did a good job holding this class together. Coaching changes are never easy and we certainly lost a few simply because of the change, but nevertheless we seem to have a solid class and some great new coaches. I really can't wait for the O & B game.
