This really isn't cold climate territory. Just one of those odd years you get every 15-20 years that brings a rough winter. We've had more snow this month than I have seen here in the last 10 years. High temp yesterday was around 26, normal for this time of year is about 46.

Good moorning early risers. Boy did I have a strange day/night yesterday. Got off work at 6:00am and went home to take a quick nap and woke up with kidney stones rolling around. Spent most of the day with an IV and a screen. Finally raised enough hell to be released from the hospital at 2:30am this morning and now, Thank God, I am back at work in my comfort zone working two 12's this weekend with a bottle of Lori Tab for pain. we only had two class days last week but it was great. I knew who my math (same) and my history professors were. My new English professor came with great reviews and my new speech professor didn't have any info that I could find. Both were great though, I'm aiming for Presidents list this semester. I was taking MTH 098 last semester and that isn't a college course so it didn't count towards my GPA. If it had I would of been on the deans list with a 3.5.

I took MTH 098 even though I tested into 100 because it has been so long since I was in a math course (01) I didn't want to fall behind and get discouraged.

I think the Presidents list is an obtainable goal for me.

Weather here is getting better, it was high 40's yesterday and is suppose to get into the mid 60's this week. Hopefully it stays that way.

Thank you for the kind words! I was excited for school to start this semester but the ice/snow storm had other ideas. I'm actually enjoying school, just shows me how much I matured over 7 years from 18-25. I use to hate school, but now I want to go and expand my knowledge. I notice the 18 year old freshmen are real immature and I cant believe I actually acted just like them.

Morning all. I had a great time yesterday, even though we lost the game, in spite of all my screaming and yelling. Though mounted a fierce come back, bringing us all to our feet. It got really loud, but they waited too late to wake up. Not enough threes and too many free throws missed, ten to be exact. Over all it was a good experience. We went to dinner at Harry's downtown. Great Cajun food, generous portions and really nice ambiance. The brick streets reminded me of old Lakeland downtown. Of coarse they replaced most of the brick streets there. Big mistake IMO. I have you all are having a great weekend.

Harry's is a good place to refill your gullet & slake your thirst after loss drown or at least dampen the ache....

Took advantage of the MLK Holiday to sleep in, will be doing double duty tomorrow and likely Wednesday to make up for it so I will enjoy Monday to the max. The techies at Accuweather show TStorms all day for the scrub here in Irvine, .33 inches since midnight, I can live with that :)

Went to my back Dr yesterday, going to the throat Dr on Monday, reg Dr on Tues.
I feel better but the swelling is still there. Got my school schedule fixed this week, but the workers comp idiot dropped the ball again on getting my paperwork so I have to go early Monday to get my books. Now I'm starting to worry about the hospital bills coming.
