My lil' girl's solar system diorama is due tomorrow, but I think it's coming along well so far. I finished painting the Styrofoam balls last night so she wouldn't get messy. :) Tonight we'll be working together stringing them up, etc. Good times!

Where do you trail V? Every time I take the Suncoast Express there is a bike trail there. It is always very busy. Too late for Morning, but I can say a good day to all.

We do the one you see Mama very often, however they have it closed for some repairs, so we drove over to Dunedin and go to Tarpon Springs through Palm Harbor~ about 25 miles round trip on the Pinellas Trail.

We've been on several, but on the weekends we usually stay close to home so we can merge chores, errands and relaxing with the ride.

V and all. My Husband has decided to adopt a wait and see attitude. He is not ready for the radical surgery at this point.He will do no harm to wait and see if it will heal further. He just suffers a little inconvenience. Thanks to all for your concern and good wishes. Nothing works like it used to precancer it seems. You just can't turn back time. The blessing is that he is still cancer free.

A Monday smile to you ... true story.
We LOVE our little cousin who was the Ring Bearer in the daughter's wedding. He stayed with me the days prior to the wedding and the week after. His dad is a HUGE WAR EAGLE fan and grad, his Mom a BAMA GRAD and football fan~ ( yes they have some interesting discussions)

On the way out of town, after hearing how The Swamp was open and he saw the pics of our kids with Urban one day in The Swamp, the Dad decided to stop and check it out with the family, being he is a huge SEC fan. They loved Gainesville and enjoyed lunch there, took some pictures with the Bronze Gators, etc. His mama just sent this email to the daughter and I:

Ok-you'll love this. I was telling T. that I was going to get him a shirt that is half Bama half auburn, so he could be for both Mom and Dad's team. He said "no, I wanna gators one!"

Another Victory Sunday!!

Hi all....exhausted here...had to take my Mom to the ER in the middle of the night. Her BP went sky high - 206/100-something.... very scary. They did a bunch of tests and gave her meds to bring it down. She seems OK now and they let me bring her home. She needs to followup with her own Dr this week.

Now I'm dozing on the couch trying to watch Bfast with the Gators.

Thanks knights. They gave her a script that I need to get filled for her today. Something for her to take if her BP spikes up again. Gotta go to Publix to fill it, and their pharmacy doesn't open until 11 on Sunday.

She just took a pill- her BP is at 191/101. We'll give it an hour and see.....

Good luck and God Bless your Mom Slinky. I spent many hours in Doctors offices, er's and hospitals with my Mom. I gladly put my life on hold for her 16 years, counting the six spent in a nursing home, until she passed. I would do it all over. Bless you both.

Thanks all. :love: She’s had controlled hypertension for years. For the past 2 weeks she has been “super” hydrating cuz of the noon kickoff Gator games. The Dr said her potassium was a little low, which could be due to the extra water and Gatorade. She gave her potassium pills last night to help with that.

Now that she’s taken the Rx its come down significantly. 120/70 something. She needs to call her Dr in the morning to go see him, but has to watch out for any further spikes before tomorrow morning. Another spike and we’re off to the ER again….

I know you don't. We kept my Mom at home as long as we could. She developed dementia and we were told she would get worse. She would have to be watched 24/7. No one in the family could do that. Most all of us had to work. It was wearing on all who had to rotate. She did not even know me the last two years of her life. But I knew her, I visited her regularly just the same. Enjoy your Mother every day. Life is a gift, live in the moment.
