Pub Guidelines

A lot of you have expressed concerns over what exactly is ok to post in the Pub and what is out of bounds. So, Bari, the other mods and I came up with the list of guidelines so that you all feel more comfortable. We're going to try and keep it pretty relaxed with a minimum of guidelines.

Pub Guidelines


Keep posts PG-13

No personal attacks whatsoever, jesting among friends is different

Avoid posting pictures with exposed nipples, bush, thongs, and see through clothing.

Avoid posting videos of overly promiscuous scenes (strip teases, inappropriate dancing etc.)

No advertising

No Bumping

Have a grand old time!

Regarding copying and pasting stories/articles: Folks can copy and paste up to 1/2 of an article from another site, but no more than 4 paragraphs. Also, the source has to be named and linked if on the internet.

Addendum!

If you have any concerns over a locked thread or an inappropriate thread please PM the Pub administrators (Bakaduin, BariTubaBone) or the mods(Swamplizard, gatorknights, slinkygator, vertigo0923).
Please do not start a thread or a post questioning an action taken. THANKS!

I don't go near the Den or Swamp Gas during the games because of all the hostility. I try to keep hubby from chat during a game (we share one membership) but he can't resist I guess because he's a glutton for punishment...I dunno.

Just wanted to express my feelings about the thread bumping.

Who cares? If someone wants to continue something that got lost in the shuffle, they should be allowed to do it once in a while. Especially if there is a good response. Also, there are threads about shows that need to be bumped every week since they air each week.

Seems like there are better things that need monitoring.

Just my 2 cents.

What you're describing isn't really bumping, the way that explained several times in the past. There is nothing wrong with real discussion, and there is a difference in that and someone simply bumping their own thread just to see it back on top. People used to just post "bump," or "BTT," but it has evolved beyond that. It's really pretty silly that people do this, but they do. Like I said, we have been pretty lax about this, so we are just putting up a friendly reminder that it is indeed against the rules.
