The one minute clip doesn't really represent the entire conversation. It was a civil, reasonable conversation about the budget, not about taxes. The tax statement is at six minute in.

It is easy to be a Dem/lib when your total tax bill is less than 30%.
But reality sets in when you realize that your total tax bill hits 50 plus %.
I bet Maher recently learned that his tax bill will be more than his net pay. Imagine having the government getting more of your pay than you get.
