The alleged victim reported the incident to police In November.

She says It happened after a party in October.

She tells police she and two friends met three football players and she went back to their room with one of them.

She said they were "fooling around" in his bed when a second player started touching her.

She said she didn't want to do that so she went into the bathroom.

There she told police, the second player forced her to have oral sex.

In the search warrant, police say the first player told them said the girl came back to his room with him, and he got into his bed.

He said she jumped on top of him and started kissing him.

After a while, he decided didn't want to do that because he had a girlfriend back home.

No one from OSU would talk today saying its an ongoing investigation ABC 6 / FOX 28 has learned that one, of the three players, left the team last week.

No one from the university will confirm that it's a result of this incident.

In the wake of the Penn State scandal, I doubt things will be business as usual. Either way, with so many news outlets these days, ESPN would be foolish to choose to be late to a sports story.

Maybe I misunderstand the storyline, but something doesn't add up.

She tells police she and two friends met three football players and she went back to their room with one of them.

She said they were "fooling around" in his bed when a second player started touching her.

Okay, so exactly how many people are in this room while she's "fooling around" with this one guy????

She said she didn't want to do that so she went into the bathroom.

There she told police, the second player forced her to have oral sex.

So where was the guy she was with while this is going on? She goes to the bathroom followed by this other guy and he does nothing?!?!

In the search warrant, police say the first player told them said the girl came back to his room with him, and he got into his bed.

He said she jumped on top of him and started kissing him.

After a while, he decided didn't want to do that because he had a girlfriend back home.

So after being raped and forced to give oral sex, this girl is so distraught that she ... goes back and tries to jump the guy's bones who she started with?!?!?! Yeah, that seems like the logical reaction of a girl who's been raped.

And then this guy suddenly decides to stop her because he has a girlfriend.

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying a rape didn't happen and if it did, these guys should be prosecuted to the fullest extent. But there are a lot of things about this story, on both sides, that just makes no sense.

Se'Von Pittman left the team last week. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/blog/eye-on-college-football/21823931/ohio-state-defensive-end-sevon-pittman-to-transfer Ohio State would not confirm the reason for Pittman's desire to be released, though the Dispatch reports it has something to do with an "off-the-field issue" and Pittman is "looking for a fresh start."
The others allegedly named are Kyle Dodson, OL from Cleveland, and either a recruit Shelton Gibson (also from Cleve Heights) who signed with W.Va., or Meyer's inner circle member and church buddy Noah Spence.

I read on the Ohio State board that the guys involved were Se'von Pittman (who was a 2012 Rivals 100 signee that Urban "flipped"), Kyle Dodson, and David Dawson, who was in town on a recruiting trip. I know the Gators also recruited Dawson at some point last fall. Dodson was also "flipped" to Ohio State by Urban after having commited elsewhere. Dodson was a US Army All-American offensive tackle (signed with OSU in 2012) who had offers from dozens of schools. Dawson ended up signing with Michigan last month.

It's not clear exactly where the information in the story came from. The story talked about what the girl "said" (to who? when?) and also talked about what was in a search warrant. My guess is that it all came from the search warrant but regardless, it's not an indictment or information or something similar that one would expect to be clearer and provide more detail as to what allegedly happene. So it's no surprise that there are a lot of things about this story that make no sense.

I assume if you're in a situation wherein you're being forced to engage in some sexual behavior, biting a penis might not necessarily be the wisest move.

I don't know. How about one of us tries it and then we see what happens.

Seriously, I think it will fall under the state's sodomy statutes. Reminds me of a funny story from art school years. A girl I knew was complaining because she had to wake up in the middle of the night to bail her husband out of jail. He told her he was arrested for DUI. When she went to post bail, it was much higher than a DUI should have been. The clerk then showed her the arrest report; DUI, reckless driving, driving without headlights and sodomy, all at the same time. Apparently he had picked up a girl at a strip club and was driving along while she was busy in his lap. Oral sex is considered sodomy in Georgia and most other states.

This stuff is largely arbitrary. Athletes tend to commit crimes, push the limits of discipline, etc. We could be next. Or it could be Alabama. Or Michigan. Or USC. There isn't a coach on earth that can prevent it, assuming he's recruiting top-notch talent.

Something also about a huge crowd in Stubenville, OH, must be her home town; I predict this is going to get interesting. Of course the girl could be a slut sexually active since age 13, but, glad it's in OH instead of G'ville. Karma for Urb.

As far as filling the void in the slot, nobody mentioning Jeff Demps. Dude could fill those shoes eventually. Not if he keeps returning to track and holds his weight at 175. If he ever makes the decision to bulk up and play football only, I think he could produce some serious yardage in the Pats' system.

Well, the guy who allegedly forced oral sex was not the same guy she was fooling around with.

I guess these modern times require new guidelines. If a girl is fooling around with a guy in a room while other guys are in there, is it an open invitation for the other guys to participate? They should make a "For Dummies" guide for group sex.

I haven't really read too much about it outside of headlines. it's one of those football crazed ohio towns (because there's nothing else to do in that state) so the only thing I can think of is a portion of them are backing the football players under the 'boys will be boys' theory.

There isn't a coach on earth that can prevent it, assuming he's recruiting top-notch talent.I don't think you can take the coach's role out of the mix. We had incidents but were not plagued by criminal activity under SOS and we had plenty of NFL talent on campus. Saban has had very little of it, considering the top level talent he has on campus. Urban Meyer had an epidemic of arrests, it seemed he had no control over it.

The leader has to have control and exert his influence over the behavior of these kids and it starts with the recruiting process.
