CB Kalvaraz Bessent just said he's planning to commit to a school tonight.


I think he has only visited UGA Bama & Florida. He is good friends with UF Jarred Davis he has a few teammates on UGA and Saban was the first to offer.

It just feels like a Saban move but I hope I am wrong. KB said he grew up a Gator fan but that is always overrated. This could go either way. I think it is a two team race. No matter what happens I doubt either side will stop recruiting him this is far from over.

How many DB/CBs are we taking this yr? We already have one correct?

I am not real sure right now. We need probably 3 CB's and don't need a safety. Duke Dawson is committed but he could play corner or safety. I think he is more of a Nickle corner/ safety than a true corner

Bama is going to get Marlon Humphrey which means they will probably only have one spot left at corner. If that 3rd and final spot is filled before Tabor makes his decision it would help us. I am not too worried about corner we are going to get ours. Just would have liked for us not to have to go into Metro Atlanta for a player and it looks like we will have to for one or two of the Georgia CB's.

Yea, corner is not my biggest concern as much as OL is. I'm surprised we offered a Juco OL kid this early. I trust the coaches but is FL hurting that bad with OLmen this yr to offer a Juco so early? FB and TE are must haves this yr as well.

We were going to take him last year but he didnt have enough credit to graduate. He is already scheduling OV's so we had to offer now. It not that we are hurting bad its just they think he is that good. We are going to need to replace two inside OL in 2014 so a guy ready to go would be nice especially with this Dunker situation looking shaky.

Yea, I read that we worked him a few yrs back. When I said is FL hurting, I meant the state itself for OLmen (2013 class) I'd rather have a kid who has the coaches approval and players smash mouth football as he does, over a HS senior yet to prove anything.

2013 class wasn't great but the 2014 OL class in Florida is actually really good.

Glad they didn't get him out of Florida. Seems like a lot of good Georgia players went out of state last season.

I guess but Kingsland, GA is basically Florida especially when you talk recruiting area distance.

Let's see what he looks like after he's trained with Ratliff for another year.

I actually think the Juco ol's we got this year were very good finds. They have experience and may be able to step and get a lot of PT in.
