In the latest twist, Ameen Najjar, a now-former NCAA investigator, wrote a letter to the court just days before Nevin Shapiro was sentenced two years ago, even going as far as implying that Shapiro would make a fantastic NCAA employee.

You read that correctly: An employee of college sports’ governing body believed a man sentenced to 20 years in prison for orchestrating a massive Ponzi scheme and then paying teenaged Canes football players for whatever they wanted (including letting them party on yachts full of strippers, for example) would have made a great employee with said governing body.

The basis for him being a great NCAA investigator is similar to the logic if hiring a former bank fraud to catch other bank frauds like Leonardo Decaprio's character being hired by Tom Hanks in Catch me if you can.
The guy Leo played, Frank Abagnale, became one of the best at catching others because of his own experience and insider info.
Perhaps the greasy Mr. Shapiro could fill that kind if roll, after he helps crush the degenerate cane program of course.

The actions of the NCAA's & Shapiro's legal counsel seriously put any meaningful sanctons on Miami in question...

Makes me sick

There exists no hypothetical, utopian scenario wherein no matter what the NCAA did the fans of every NCAA team would not say things like "the NCAA is a joke."
