The lob was open today, we could have gone to it more

First of all, huge win today. We needed to win one like this where we didn't play our best game. That's a good sign when you win those against a quality opponent.

As for the lob, it was there about four more times today. I was surprised that we didn't go to it more. Patric's defender was falling asleep on the switch and he was rolling straight to the bucket. I'd say Scottie failed to see it twice, Boynton once and someone else another time. You have to go to the lob if Patric is open. That's an easy bucket.
Murphy also missed one to a wide open Prather in transition. Though that could have just been a two handed chest pass for an easy bucket.

I've got a feeling the guys are just getting the hang of that with Patric. I've never understood why we don't do it more often, because the way teams have been beating us is by making switches on our pick and role. The lob is a great way of making them think twice about doing that.
