We really need a guy down the stretch in games that are close and establish some sort of identity.

I think Scottie is that guy. I saw glimpses of it in the loss to Mizzou and the same tonight. He needs to have the ball in his hands I think 100 percent of the time down the stretch and create off the dribble to the rim. Shooting or passing off the drive. But I think it needs to be him.

Didn't he have the ball down the stretch this game?

Yes

He can't be afraid to take the jump shot though. But he made several great plays that kept us in the game... His assist to Prather for the and-one was nice. He's definitely the best of our guards at getting to the rim. Rosario is better when he's taking the mid-range jump shots rather than trying to finish at the rim imo.

We need Frazier back so when Boynton pulls a no-show like he did tonight, we can have him out there to get some much needed points.

Our guards have absolutely no idea what to do when the other team is defending our ball-screen offense decently. They can't beat guys off the dribble. Scottie can somewhat do it, and we need him to facilitate down the stretch.

Wished he would have thrown it down to Murphy instead to KB at the end of the game.

Not every time. He did miss a driving layup that he should have made. But he also made a few and made some very nice passes.

Do you think there is a better option.

This team has not quite gotten comfortable looking to Wilbekin every time. The rebounder often looks to Rosario or Boynton. One of the things that should be increasingly clear as this season unfolds is that Wilbekin is the trigger guy and unless UF has a real advantage, the rebounder needs to find Wilbekin.

I did notice UTn pressed a bit in the second half to get the ball out of Wilbekin's hands. But as Boynton got the ball to half court, he and Wilbekin work to get the ball in Wilbekin's hands a couple of times.
