I know glass houses and all, but this is just good for the soul, especially during the slow offseason.

"Flournoy-Smith filed a report with the UGA Police Department this week claiming he had his text books stolen, according to UGA Police Chief Jimmy Williamson. An investigation was launched and it was quickly determined that Flournoy-Smith had cashed in the books himself at an Athens buy-back store. Williamson did not know the value of the books."

I have a feeling he realized he couldn't read and, therefore, didn't need the books.

It's in the running, but let's not forget the Poodles' hash brown thief.

Georgia soccer player Carli Shultis is expected to have any upcoming punishment for a misdemeanor shoplifting arrest earlier this week handled by coach Steve Holeman as the Bulldogs open their spring schedule today.

Shultis, 19, was arrested by UGA Police and charged with theft by shoplifting Tuesday morning at the Tate Center Bulldog Café. A restaurant employee called police after witnessing Shultis putting hash browns in her pants and then proceeding without paying for them, UGA Police spokesman Lt. Eric Dellinger said.

That had to be a hazing prank or something other than just theft.

You're right, it was something other than theft - it was drunk theft.

I don't mind the fact that she stuffed the hash browns in her pants. What bothers me is that she took them out of her pants and tried to put them back on the food counter when she realized she had been spotted. This is not someone you want to be behind in the food line.

I think it happened at 8:30-something in the morning. Maybe drunk, but even for a college kid that would be hardcore. She might have just wanted hot, oily potato product in her pants. :whoa:
