Like him or not, Kenny Chesney is HUGE.

His list of hits in massive.

I also think Zack Brown has the talent to
'fill their shoes".

And my favorite music in the world is 70's "outlaw" country, with Willie, Waylon, David Allen Coe, Jerry Jeff Walker, Merle, Johnny Lee, Billy Joe Shaver, and the list goes on.

Princess no one could of given this thread a better title.

I grew up in the 1960's on the Westside of Duval County (Jax). Back then that was one of the most Red Neck areas in the state of Florida. All of the stars in that video were legends and performed once or twice a year in Jax. It was a rare event not hearing their music on a radio or a juke box in a diner, a bait shop, a garage, or a juke joint.

Back then It was common to see a few of these stars around town. Some of them had friends and relatives and they would stop in for a visit.
One time I got to hang out for a few hours with The Oak Ridge Boys around 1970.

Zac Brown Band is the next really big thing. One of the only country bands I've seen that has followers from people that absolutely hate country.

I miss the old days and old ways. Country music is now just pop music. I'veet Willie Nelson, and set next to Kris Kristofferson fun guys both of them.

There might be some with a massive hit list, doesn't make it good music though. Go George.

George is a national treasure and was useful as a child rearing tool. When on long driving trips I would get the kids to behave in the backseat by threatening to put in the Best of George Jones double tape if they didn't stop. Almost always worked and when it didn't I could revel in "He stopped loving her today" win/win.
