Someone help me out. I was at the Arkansas game tonight so I didn't get to see a replay, but it sure looked like one of the Arkansas guards (BJ Young?) slammed Scottie's face right down into the floor when Scottie tripped and was laying on his stomach. Could you see this on TV? And was it as dirty as it appeared live? Thanks.

Didn't see that, but the Hawgs did a lot of grabbing and shoving that wasn't called all game.

I did notice that Scottie, Eric, and Patric walked off the floor at the end without shaking hands.

My brother was at the game and just told me the same thing. I must have missed it.

I saw it, even replayed it, and couldn't tell if it was intentional or not. As soon as it happened, Young held his hands up as if it was an accident. But I think B.J. Young is a punk so I wouldn't put anything past him.

It looked really intentional from the stands.

He put both hands on his head and pushed his head to the floor. Nothing was said by the announcers, but it looked very obvious on tv.

What time of the game did this occur?

With 12:26 to go in the game.

I just watched the replay numerous times and, as much as I can't stand B.J. Young, I just don't think you can determine if it was intentional or not. It looked like Scottie tripped, possibly over Patric's foot, into BJY's path. BJY was delivering a pass and still had his head turned in the direction of the pass as Scottie fell under him. At this point, an Arky fan would say BJY put his hands out to break a potential fall and Scottie's head just happened to be there whereas others might say he wasn't in much danger of falling and what he did was deliberate. I've watched it over and over, even slowed it down, and I can't tell. I know if looked really bad, but when you consider the circumstances I mentioned above, it's hard to tell, in my opinion. Although, right after it happened, BJY held both hands up in the so-called "guilty but hoping the officials either didn't see it or don't call it" pose.

I think that B.J. Young had his feet tangled up with a prone Wilbekin and reflexively put his hands down to keep from falling on top of him. It appeared to me that Young's hands can down on the back of Wilbekin. It did push him back down again.

Of course you can never know for sure what someone is thinking.

I was not happy when Anderson got the job at Arkansas. He learned the trade under Nolan Richardson, whose teams were known for "forty minutes of hell." What that really meant was "40 minutes of hard fouls and dirty plays." Richardson would go 10 to 12 deep every game, and that's exactly what Anderson is up to. It's not for the quality...it's for the fouls that can be absorbed. The amazing thing is, after a while the refs get inured to the fouling and don't call as many because they want to get the game over with.

They hammered Pat in Fayetteville and he let his frustration take him out of the game. Last night, they still hammered him, but he managed to stay focused.

Arkansas: my new least favorite SEC team.

Arkansas is a two player offense with 10 players around them with 5 fouls each. The piggies 6'7"/240 kid fouled Murphy on his layup and should have had back to back to back fouls, but the refs didn't call it. I don't know that it is dirty, but it is certainly a physical style of play meant to wear out the opposition.

I hope we get to play the piggies in the SEC tournament with a completely healthy team. We'll beat them by 30.

No thanks, they are not a team I want to play again. They match up well with our guards and if they are hitting their threes it will be a tough, close game
