A Missouri lawmaker introduces a bill to make it a felony for another lawmaker to propose gun control/safety legislation .

Leara’s bill provides that “[a]ny member of the general assembly who proposes a piece of legislation that further restricts the right of an individual to bear arms, as set forth under the second amendment of the Constitution of the United States, shall be guilty of a class D felony.”

I guess it is like the world economies' attempts to devalue their currency, it is a rush to the bottom (of the intelligence pool). At least it is entertaining.

And remember, these people are elected by the voting American population.

I'll say it. That guy is a genius. I never considered the idea of proposing laws for/against things I'm against/for outright illegal. That's thinking outside the box. :)

I certainly imagined an "I'm rubber and your glue" sentiment running through the legislation.

It was simply an attempt to make a point, well taken, I believe. There was no expectation for the bill to pass.
