Going to US-IOA over the next few days, but we'll be eating outside of the park for dinner. Any recommendations between the parks and downtown where we are staying? We have 2 kids with us, looking for good food, affordable, clean, and most importantly to me.....not a chain.
Thanks in advance,
Outback

It's a chain, but Rainforest Cafe is really good with great scenery. Also, lots of shops to check out in vicinity.

I will be meeting a work colleague who is in town from Boston at OceanPrime which is another chain in that area.

I wonder if that location draws the "eye candy" that the one in Tampa does? I do realize it is Sunday, though.

Too bad Cask and Larder isn't open on Sundays. I really would like to try that place.

Cask and Larder is awesome, everything it is cracked up to be.

Tampa Ocean Prime> Orlando Ocean Prime

Kids ages? If younger boys, try T Rex Cafe in Downtown Disney. Like Rainforest Cafe, except with dinosaurs.

Like Italian? try Portobello. A bit pricey, but good stuff. Again at Downtown Disney.

Cafe Tu Tu Tango is a good place for the whole family. My only complaint is that it's on I Drive. I hate I Drive.

Anthony's on corner of Sand Lake Rd and Turkey Lake Rd. Very delicious Tuscan style pizza and pasta. Also try their wings -- they are excellent -- it may sound like an oxymoron, but they are upscale wings.

Also try Brio at Mall of Millenia. BJ's Restaurant near Mall of Millenia is good also -- lots of choices, affordable and clean.

Basically, go down Sand Lake west of I-4 and you will have more chain options than you could imagine. I understand Rocco's Tacos is quite popular.

It is like the chain restaurant hall of fame down there. :)
