This team is extremely efficient on both ends of the floor, and EVERY team would have lost to an Arkansas team shooting lights out (one of the worst shooting teams in the SEC) and getting the lucky bounces they got (seriously watch the first 10 minutes of that game). Other than that misleading result, every result is evidence of a great team. Losing barely to 2 top 10 teams on the road. And killing everyone else. Name another team with a resume like that. Gator fans, pending injury or Arkansas level bad luck, this season will be special.

The energy level last night was perfect for what we need to be in contention. Even Wilbon stated that the Arky loss may be the best thing to happen to us to move forward.

I for one am quite happy with the loss.
First, we are not #1 and don't have to deal with that pressure.
Second, it already appeared that our success was getting to our head - we needed an attitude adjustment in some regard.
Third, I think part of the reason for the loss was not having Yeugette. This has given Prather an opportunity to get back into the game and when we have both healthy later on, we will be a far better team.
Now, lets see how we handle the remaining away games on our schedule.

Exactly how I see it. This team needs reminders that it has to play at its best to win. And, with their experience, these kids know how to do it.
Could be a great year although injuries could dictate our ceiling.

Personally, I thought the team was in something of a slump against Ole Miss, Arky and Miss St., much like the SW La through Yale slump at the end of the OOC schedule.
this is a very good team, but this year's NCAA Division I basketball is simply crazy. A few examples include: Gators lose to Arky, Miami loses to FGCU, Ole Miss loses to Indiana State - and the list goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on.
