And then get spanked. I am sure there are a lot of people wanting to get us matched up with them in any bowl game. But if we got to play them in a NCG, what a sell that will/would be. Knocking them out of the play offs would be nice also.

I hope we start right about #10 and work our way up. Miami will be a test early on. Look for some injuries to come out of that game. I hope the injuries do not affect later games. Beat Georgia, and it shows the Gators have improved enough to stay in the top 10.

Four losses? I can see LSU at Death Valley, UGA at WLOCP and SC at the Chicken Coop as troublesome games, but I am struggling to find a fourth. Arky at the Swamp?

We were suppose to lose 4 or 5 last year and look how that ended up I'm not gonna speculate or guess how many we'll lose this year anything can happen

Miami concerns me from an injury point of view. If the Canes give up on beating the Gators in touchdowns, they will resort to hitting the QB, RBs, and WRs excessively at the cost of a few penalties.

Yep. We kept our QB and they lost theirs, but they'll magically be reloading, and we'll be perceived to be rebuilding..
When will these hacks ever learn.

Rivalry game, anything can happen. Plus it's early in the season, and in Miami. Miami will be jacked. I don't think we hate Miami as much as they hate us.

Perhaps, I'm just saying based upon what pollsters have to look at now Louisville looks be just as good a team if not better than we are both in terms of on the field play and projected future production (remember we lost nearly all of our offense and much of our defense).

Get used to hearing about lots of Urban next year:
Aside of their game against Michigan, their schedule makes FSU's 2012 run look like Gaunlet of the Decade. It's insulting to cupcakes to call it a cupcake...
ESPN loves them a bit of Urban. Last year it was USC and ND. This year OSU is bowl eligible and but for a freak of fate, they'll be 11-0 before they even face Michigan. Even with a loss, they are going to have a compelling case for a NCG selection and you can bet your bottom dollar that ESPN will be pushing hard on their behalf.
Add in a little bit of the inevitable Hesiman talk for Miller which will spew forth regardless of the competition he plays (it's all about numbers, eh?) and you've another reason why people will push them in the polls.
I'm no prophet but I feel pretty sure I know what'll happen this year - a 12-0 OSU (No.1, by then) will get dismantled in the title game by Alabama or Texas A&M. I'm no betting man but I think even I'd be tempted to put money on it!

I kind of seeing it happening that way too.. 12-0 Big 10 vs SEC, again, and again they get curb stomped. Hopefully and this time by WM and the Gatays.

Umm did you watch the AnM, georgia, and lsu game against bama they are not that far ahead of anybody if at all they'll lose 2 games next year maybe three they will have a good offense but they're defense won't be quite as good as its been

I take the loses back didn't look at they're schedule before (my bad) but they will lose to AnM again, they play at college station, and depending on how well ole miss does with using all those studs they got, they might have a chance as well as lsu, but lsu will be down this year so unlikely

Saying that we'll go 14-0 is pretty wild, but 11-1 is a definite possibility. I've broken down the personnel, and I think we're in good shape. Let's take a look:
QB-Driskel needs to make better decisions and complete more passes. I think he also needs to throw the ball more accurately.
RB-Adding the top running back (Taylor) in the nation to an already-deep stable of 'backs makes this the deepest, most physical group in the country. I anticipate that Kelvin will lead the SEC in rushing this season.
WR/TE-Love moving Purifoy to this position. He'll be All-SEC, with a rising Quinton Dunbar to take the heat off. Kent Taylor provides big play, All-american ability at TE.
OL-I challenge you to find a better starting five in college football. If Garcia and Humphries are as good as expected, Florida looks to have one of the two or three best lines in the SEC.
DL-The return of "Diesel Dom" means it'll be hard to run the football against us. Either Bullard or Fowler can give us double-digit sacks off the edge, and a healthy Ronald Powell gives us the best defensive line in college football.
LB-Both Anzalone and McMillian are good enough to start right away, but they'll be hard-pressed to beat out Morrison and Ball. One of the SEC's finest groups.
CB-While everybody is excited about the return of Roberson, Hargreaves will be the best corner in the SEC by the end of the season. Keanu Neal should earn All-SEC, and I like the move of Watkins to FS. He has All-American ability.
ST-Debose is the best kick returner in America, and Christie is the best punter. We have the best special teams in the SEC.
I think we could lose to LSU. The South Carolina game will come down to whether or not Garcia can hold his own against Clowney. If he can, we destroy Carolina. 11-1 is pretty realistic at this point.
