Where does he need to go? Jax with Timmy?

Well since Jax doesn't want Tim, I assume he'd have to hide in Percy's luggage.

I could see him replacing Wes Welker for the Pats. Adding him to that offense would be downright scary.

Harvin would be beastly wherever he goes. I know he would be scary on the Pats, which is precisely why I hope he doesn't go there. I think he would be incredible with the Skins or seahawks. Mobile Qb's with accurate arms...the sky's the limit.

Teams will line up for him. He was off to his best season before injured, and was a strong MVP candidate.
demosthenes

But then that is his problem. The guy has taken care of his migraines but is still injury prone. Although, to be honest, I think it is at least partially a product of his playing style. A wide receiver running around DTs, DEs and LBs all game seems much more likely to suffer injury.

Because trading electric playmakers in their prime makes perfect sense.... Percy is clearly a very bad character. I wouldn't want him near my team.

Percy needs to check his attitude. He's had problems with both his coaches and we're all aware of his dealings at UF. I'd love to see him on Jax though, the receivers would be dynamite. It would be the only position on the team worth a damn.

Percy has alot of upside as we saw at Florida, but he has his issues- migraines, some attitude issues, and he has a tendency to get injuried.
Not a slam dunk for any team

Some attitude issues? Suspended in high school for fighting. Fought a coach and teammate at UF. Failed a drug test AT the combine. Tried to fight Brad Childress and now tried to fight another coach. Orange and Blue glasses run deep on this thread.

I could see him replacing Wes Welker for the Pats. Adding him to that offense would be downright scary. Although I have never liked that Pats (to put it kindly), Percey would be a great addition. They would be VERY hard to stop and I am sure that everyone's numbers would improve drastically just because of the attention he brings to himself.

We are in it. We lose Tony G most likely which leaves a hole in the middle. Slide Percy in there and he can pick up a lot of that slack. He's not the possession type of receiver Tony was to move the chains but he would fit right in. Falcons also have a good situation salary wise to make the deal. We will see if Minnesota gets something done to keep him.

Actually, I have a feeling Tony Gonzalez might come back. I think he's really on the fence now. He said before the end of the season he was 95% sure he would retire. I think it might closer to 50-50 now.
Would love to see Harvin in Atlanta and if Gonzalez comes back, they would have arguable the best WR corp in the NFL with Jones, White, Gonzalez and Harvin. I assume the Falcons would try to move Harry Douglas.
The problem is that I'm really not sure how Harvin fits the Falcon offense. Jacquizz Rodgers has really become pretty effective as that hybrid back/receiver.
I'm just not sure the Falcons need Harvin.
The Patriots would seem to be a great fit with Harvin potentially replacing Welker. As much as I like the Patriots and Welker has been great there, I think he's largely a product of the system. Somebody else will overpay him and unless he happens to land in the perfect system, he'll probably rarely be heard from again.
I think Harvin could fit into the Welker role and potentially be an upgrade to Welker.

Maybe.
I've seen the Pats' offense go hogwild on some opponents and completely shut down against others. Percy would be a big pick-up for NE, but what they need is a danged defensive line that can actually dominate and get other offenses off the field.

Over 2000 yards rushing and almost 600 yards receiving in two seasons. Still a dynamic athlete. He wants "very badly" to stay in Miami.
Only Jeff Ireland could mess this up.

I am.. he's good but overvalued imho. He's getting to the point in his short career where injuries are catching up to him. I don't think they can get all that much for him in a trade, but certainly he has value.

Yes. Injury prone and overpayed for what Miami is trying to do. I hope they can keep him...but I think a playmaker like Reggie may be a bigger asset to a young QB...providing a decent blind side protector can be found if Long walks.
I am in the minority that thinks Miami is very close to being a playoff team. Two OT losses last year, thats how close to the playoffs they are.
