Roland Martin: "The reality is like anything else, you’d better get what you can while Obama’s there because, look, come 2016, that’s it.” Now, what Roland Martin’s saying here is all of you who are looking for prosperity from the government, you better get it and get it now. Get it while you can, get it while Obama’s there, because come 2016, he’s not gonna be there, and then you’re gonna be on your own. You better get what you can get now. And here’s what Maxine Waters said in reply. (Skip to 4:30 on the video) The apparatus that Obama has set up is like nothing in our lifetimes. So says Ms. Waters.

Sounds like Obama is getting ready to blackmail whomever he wishes. He has no plans to let go of the real reins of government whether or not he is in office.

He is on a mission to destroy this country.

That is where market research is moving: big databases with individual level data. The campaign had a database that put in a bunch of information about every eligible voter in the country and came out with a likelihood to vote, a likelihood to vote for Obama if they did vote, and a targeting algorithm that figured out what might motivate you or convince you to vote or vote for him.
Most large corporations are putting together similar databases right now. As storage space becomes cheaper and data explodes, this is where market research is going.
Rick Scott is talking about putting together a Florida version of this with all of his money. The national Republican Party is stupid if they don't do so, as it will lead to them being out-targeted for years to come if they don't.

Thing is, are we sure that this isn't just Maxine Waters being the total idiot she is, and not actually true? She is in that "Obama money" place intellectually. Show me someone shrewd and calculating on the left saying this, and I would be more concerned.

Michi, you have a point. If not, this is disturbing.

Interesting. For years the right has portrayed Maxine Waters as a borderline nut case. Now, she is considered a credible source. Who would have thought? By the way, I agree with md, she was apparently referring to the Obama campaign's database of supporters and contributors. Most political organizations have similar databases, the difference is that the Obama organization's database is more detailed and they have been able to use it more effectively that the Republican/ right-of-center organizations have been able to utilize their databases.

You must admit, it is hard to get any coherent sense of whatever the hell she might be talking about at the moment.

My take is that the Obama organization has been collecting dirt on all the potential candidates for 2016; especially Democrats. Maxine Waters may have let slip what all the political insiders already know; if you don't do business with Obama in 2016 you get slimed and destroyed politically. He has positioned himself and his 501C4 to have major influence in the Party for many years to come.

#1 reason why you will not see Hillary run in 2016
it's just not going to happen. I fully expect the democrats to give up the 2016 election with a nonsense candidate full well knowing that the system will be stressed to the point where the government bubble pops.
Obama will be making a play to gain power within the United Nations....hoping to become head councilman. And as the situation in the US deteriorates between 2016-2020, the blame will again be towards the party in power. Which of course will be the republicans.
Democrat comes in 2022 and begins to hand more of our soveignty over to the UN with Obama the face of optimism standing there with his smile and platitudes.

You are spot on.
And hopefully not with Peter Turkson sitting in the Vatican as pope.
For Christians, this all should sound so very familiar.

Read through the full detailed story below and you'll see that Maxine is absolutely correct:
For all the praise Obama's team won in 2008 for its high-tech wizardry, its success masked a huge weakness: too many databases. Back then, volunteers making phone calls through the Obama website were working off lists that differed from the lists used by callers in the campaign office. Get-out-the-vote lists were never reconciled with fundraising lists. It was like the FBI and the CIA before 9/11: the two camps never shared data.
"We analyzed very early that the problem in Democratic politics was you had databases all over the place," said one of the officials. "None of them talked to each other."
So over the first 18 months, the campaign started over, creating a single massive system that could merge the information collected from pollsters, fundraisers, field workers and consumer databases as well as social-media and mobile contacts with the main Democratic voter files in the swing states. The new megafile didn't just tell the campaign how to find voters and get their attention; it also allowed the number crunchers to run tests predicting which types of people would be persuaded by certain kinds of appeals. Call lists in field offices, for instance, didn't just list names and numbers; they also ranked names in order of their persuadability, with the campaign's most important priorities first. About 75% of the determining factors were basics like age, sex, race, neighborhood and voting record. Consumer data about voters helped round out the picture.
"We could [predict] people who were going to give online. We could model people who were going to give through mail. We could model volunteers," said one of the senior advisers about the predictive profiles built by the data. "In the end, modeling became something way bigger for us in '12 than in '08 because it made our time more efficient."

Check out turkson's views on a Global Economic Authority and on globalism in general.
And no one, even if he is the Antichrist himself, would have the audacity or hubris to give himself away by choosing the title "Pope Peter II". "Petrus" is a given name.
And no I do NOT believe the Malachy "prophecy" is from God. Quite the opposite.
