View Full Version : LA Manifesto.....

Suffice it to say, this is the most intriquing, scary, ominous, interesting thing I've ever read.

I am truly speechless.

Per his manifesto......

Christopher Dorner, a seemingly intelligent, honest, hard working American, has tried to handle things the right way. Reporting injustices he sees within the LAPD, his former employer. After (according to him), continuously being lied to, having his name ruined for seemingly doing the right thing.....he's had enough.

He's fighting back, NAMING NAMES, and you'd better hope you didn't wrong him along the way.

Because he didn't forget.

The specifics are so detailed and referenced, one has to believe he's telling the truth.
In fact, he gives proof how it could easily be tracked. Now we have a backed into the corner pissed off guy, seeking revenge. Oh, and he has the weapons, has the training, has the computer skills, to accomplish his task.

Absolutely horrifying. I don't know how to feel. On one hand, I'm glad someone went face on and named names, stomping out wrong behavior.

On the other hand, he will be beginning a killing spree.

He tried to handle it the right way, kept being ignored, lied to, pushed back...and he finally decided to make sure they heard him.

He's made his first "name" killing"...Sylvia Quan, daughter of one of the LAPD big wigs. And there are LOTS of other names he's posted and he's coming after.

His entire manifesto is attached.....

Sad that a guy (who's very likely telling the truth about all this) is pushed to this point.

I don't agree that killing is the right way to handle this--but it's hard to argue against his first-hand (and very plausible) accounts of widespread corruption in the police force.

And if you read to the bottom, people he respects...Tim Tebow.

outbackjack

I agree that killing isn't the way either.....but he tried the right way (legal, through proper channels, courts). Again and again, he was shunned by the corruption. His name tarnished, his job gone, what is the best way to handle when the right way is wrong?

Ceal8ter
02-08-2013, 02:34 AM
And if you read to the bottom, people he respects...Tim Tebow.

...and Charlie Sheen.

Interesting read. The beginning of his manifesto is a very rationale, detailed, and thorough examination of his reason. However, half way through he seems to become scattered and unfocused. He mentions his depression and I think that's a very poignant observation in all of this. Sadly he will take the lives of innocent people in order to "clear his name". While I'm certainly all for exposing corruption and uncovering truth, I can't accept the medieval "eye for an eye" mentality he has adopted. Especially considering he has no qualms targeting friends and family of those he feels wronged him. I fear this will not happen, but I hope he realizes that his point has been made and turns himself in without any further loss of life.

A couple questions:

1. Has he killed anyone yet? If not, then there is hope that something positive will come from this. Like, say, giving the LAPD a complete enema (Rodney King, Rampart and the embarrassment of the OJ aquital apparently weren't enough).

2. What is the deal with the LAPD? Shooting up cars, shooting women without actually verifying whether it is the suspect in question or not? WTF?

http://laist.com/2013/02/07/police_shoot_motorists_mistaken_for_dorner.php

from article:

"Tragically, we believe this was a case of mistaken identity by the officers," according to City News Service. Beck added that the vehicle was being driven "in the area of one of our primary protection details, one of the people that was under the most serious level of threat." He continued, "The LAPD officers assigned observed a vehicle matching the suspect's vehicle driving down the street with the lights turned out." And they opened fire on the vehicle.

The description of Dorner's vehicle has been changed since earlier reports and is now described as a gray 2005 Nissan Titan pickup,

"Bob, look, a blue pick-up!" Rat-a-tat-tat Bang Bang!!!

Mr. Dorner's heroes are all from the left wing liberal media. He thinks Piers Morgan should be given a permanent visa. Since the left called for reprisals against conservative media after several high profile shootings nearly a dozen times, including the 2009 massacre of three Pittsburgh police officers (which lib journos falsely blamed on Fox News, Glenn Beck and the "heated, apocalyptic rhetoric of the anti-Obama forces"); the 2009 suicide insurance scam/murder hoax of Kentucky census worker Bill Sparkman (which New York magazine falsely blamed on Rush Limbaugh, "conservative media personalities, websites and even members of Congress"); the 2009 Holocaust museum shooting (which MSNBC commentator Joan Walsh blamed on Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly and Michelle Malkin); the 2010 Times Square jihad bomb plot (which Mayor Michael Bloomberg falsely blamed on tea party activists protesting Obamacare); and the 2011 Tucson massacre, which liberals continue to blame on former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, can we now expect a mea culpa from left wing media as the inspiration for this lunatic??? While it’s quite clear that the police have legitimate reason to be worried for their own safety, they have already shown themselves to be reckless cowards. Two Asian Latino women delivering newspapers were shot by Torrance undercover Los Angeles police this morning simply because they were in a Nissan truck similar to that Dorner may have been driving. Please check out this photo of that truck and keep in mind that Dorner is a 6’4″ black male. There’s no way the cops could have made any sort of visual identification of the people in this truck and mistaken either of them for Dorner. And wouldn’t a second person in the truck, who might have been a hostage, preclude them from using deadly force? Shouldn’t the fact that the license plate was not Dorner’s have kept them from emptying their guns into the back window of this truck? Or maybe the fact that the truck was the wrong color and model? Somehow, the two women escaped death; one was shot in the back twice and is expected to recover and the other was shot in the hand was injured by broken glass. A second shooting, which involved Torrance police firing at a vehicle which also turned out not to be Dorner’s, miraculously did not cause any injuries.

Yep, because there's more here than just a crazy guy mad about getting fired. Sadly, everyone is spinning it their own (for political gain) way. Right wing radio is focusing entirely on the couple of paragraphs (out of 1000s of words) that laud MSNBC and the liberal media. . . blah, blah, blah. Dems will certainly try to exploint the gun angle.

Yet nobody is addressing the very detailed claims of LAPD misconduct and the fact they'd rather ruin a guys' career than deal with the skeletons in their own closet. The sad irony of this is that his actions (killing 3 already) will allow the LAPD to vilify anyone who follows up on his suggestions for investigation and sweep it all under the rug. Oh, they are conducting an internal investigation, which will have about as much credibility as a NAMBLA investigation of Jerry Sandusky.

The statement made was that his "heroes" are all leftists....

Is Tebow a leftist?

The Alabama hostage taker, the Holocaust Memorial shooter, the Oklahoma City bomber, the Unibomber, etc. were all "ultra conservative" rightists...

The initial political rant from wargun is incorrect and kinda revealing....

If as wargun suggests that the "leftist" media is somehow responsible for this guy then the "conservative" media must be responsible for creating the killers mentioned above...

No, I don't think the media creates any of these people. They can create the mythology of them after the fact, perhaps. But get them started? No.

If there is a media angle to this, it is the fact that you would have no idea that the guy is a hardcore leftist without actually reading his screed, certainly not if you are depending on network news or major papers for the story. Sort of like how the attempted mass shooting at the FRC was sort of swept under the coverage rug.

Generalities, witness the cop shows. Everybody wants the cops to get the bad guy in the end. Everybody says "I appreciate the work you guys do", etc.

wgbgator
02-12-2013, 10:00 AM
I think cop shows are more guilty of portraying hyper-competency of cops than sentiment that cops are always "good." That's why they always catch the bad guy, its because they are really extremely competent at their job, but usually willing to break the rules or defy convention to do so (i.e. be "bad"). In reality, cops are both flawed/incompetent (i.e. human) actors and often willing to break the rules too.

And the same could be said about the hardcore conservative killers also.

I don't think the media is completely off-the-hook here...

The internet has helped to weed out moderate coverage & analysis because it just doesn't pay the bills.

If you live in a 100% left/right bubble world...which is now possible with the internet & 24 hr cable "news"...then you can cultivate some of the crazies we have in this country.

I don't know if the media creates them...but they can help foster them and agitate them.

Is Dorner another psych-med killer ?

Good question. I witnessed an almost fight yesterday between two people who are normally friendly with each other. I know at least one of them is on anti-depressants and he just went off badly. After it was over several of us were talking about the possibility these meds could be causing folks to become more unstable.

Ironic that they're classified as "mood-stabilizers."

This post would feel just as comfortable in the weed thread.

There is a shoot out going on at Bear Mountain. They have him located in a cabin that they have surrounded. Two cops purportedly shot already, this is not going to end well.

Looks like he may have shot himself. The cabin is burning and he is in it. I'm betting CS gas canisters started the fire. He will have to be identified by his dental records. Very sad for all concerned.

He may have been wounded in the earlier shootout.

I would not trust the coroner's report, nor the official police report of what happened either.

It looks more like a planned, tactical assassination by fire, than anything else, because any further risk of life was not worth it. That will be denied, of course.

And from the perspective of the LAPD, a trial wasn't worth it.

I don't disagree with that. Risky in a way, but the sympathies are with the LAPD and San Bernardino SO on this one.

Have to agree. To them he was a cop-killer/traitor already. They set the place on fire. I take it the "good cops" knew no hostages held inside so they essentially assassinated him. So it goes I guess.

Heard also report of a gunshot fired during the fire. Would not be surprised if he was already wounded and shot himself when he knew the fire would do him in.

From your thread, "Was C Dorner executed?"

But for those of us listening to the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department radio frequency, there was little question what had occurred. Nearly a half hour prior, officers had referred to “going ahead with the plan with the burner,” with another adding that the plan was to “back the Bear down and deploy the burner through the turret.” It seems pretty clear he was executed, it was planned, it's a matter of record now.
